Chapter Four-NYC

Nothing beats fall in Philadelphia except maybe fall in New York.As the three finally saw the signs pointing to the place they had been eagerly anticipating for the whole car ride there they began to play 'Welcome To New York' by Taylor Swift.As they passed the beautiful surroundings of New York and saw as all of the different people making their own dreams possible in the big apple they jammed away to the song.Yes,even Josh.Something about the way that New York looks when its just rained and fresh,crisp leaves fall to the ground makes you feel like you are in your own wonderland.Ofcourse Riley,Maya and Josh where in their own wonderland at this point.Each of them had come to New York to start fresh and find something for them.Somehow New York makes them all feel secure.

The car pulled up infront of a humble apartment building only one block away from Central Park.This was it.Home sweet home.They where in the penthouse apartment you could say.The view was incredible and offered a glimpse across what felt like the whole of the city.They had a spacious,modern kitchen overlooking the quaint living area with exposed brick.They each had their own bedroom and the girls shared a bathroom whilst Josh got one to himself.It felt good to do something for themselves for a change,instead of taking orders from everyone else.Riley began to get overly excited at the site of her new house and did an amazing contemparary dance to 'the development of a new home'.Maya and Josh just stood there and watched as Riley put on the display and ended with her falling into a pile of boxes they had just placed down.
"Whoops."embarrasment spread across Riley's face as Maya and Josh had laughing fits.If life was going to be like this from now on then they were definitely excited to continue.

For the rest of the day they unpacked boxes and explored every inch of the place.It was a beautiful piece of architecture and each of them loved it in their own special ways.At around 9pm Riley decided to order pizza for them all and went to go collect it,leaving Maya and Josh all alone.They threw themselves down onto te couch,exhausted from their hectic day.They where yet again inches apart from each other but this time,instead of laying together they held hands.They weren't quite sure how it happened but somehow there hands were clasped together,inseperable.Maya looked down at them and smiled at herself.It felt good to feel loved and appreciated by people who actually cared about what she wanted.
"Hey Maya can I ask you something?"
Josh had a serious look on his face and he had sat up,not letting go of her small,fragile hand.He continued.
"Would you mind it if I were to kiss you write this very moment then take you out on a date sometime?"
He didn't give her time to answer.Their faces where centimetres apart and there eyes where locked on each other.They began to lean in and a smile formed on both of their faces.Closer.Closer. closer and then....
