Chapter Six-Its Okay

Running seemed like the only option in the situation Maya had gotten herself into.Run or your relationship with Josh will be ruined even more than it already is.Plus it was the cop out aswell.Maya and feelings didn't mix together very often and when they did it always ended in tragedy.Leaving was also a good route to take too but this time Maya felt like she just needed space,not another new start.Maybe something could happen between Josh and Maya.Maybe they could be together.Wait,Stop it Maya Hart does not have feelings and definitely doesn't have hope!
Or could she?

As soon as Maya had begun to run Josh followed her.She wasn't getting away that easily,not this time.
"Maya.Wait.I'm sorry that I kissed you okay but I thought that you wanted to kiss and I don't care about it because I love you and I want to be with you and I felt something when we kissed,didn't you?"
Ofcourse Maya felt something and ofcourse she wanted to be with Josh but was she ready for another relationship?With someone she classed as a bestfriend.
"Ofcourse the kiss meant something to me.I loved it and I love you but I don't want to screw things up with us."
At this point Maya and Josh where stood outside of the towering building and where inches apart.
"I love you so much and I want to be with you and I promise that even if we don't work out we will always be friends.I just think we should try things out.Please."
Maya fell for his words.She felt the same as when he had called her gorgeous almost ten years before.She was caught up in the moment with her one true love and no one could break it.
"Sure Uncle Boing.I would love to go on a date with you.How are we gonna break it to Riley though?
To be honest they didn't really care what Riley thought at that time.It was just the two of them in the world.
There lips met and sparks flew instantaneously.Josh's arms where securely around Maya's waist and Maya's where wrapped around his neck.It was such a powerful kiss and they never wanted it to end.After a while they finally pulled away,huge smiles spreading across their faces.
"So how about we get back home into the warmth and plan our date.And maybe tell Riley about us before it is to late?"
"Yup lets go."
With that they walked to the subway station,hand in hand,carefree and extremely happy with each other.

See told you it would work out in the end. The writer did such a great job with my... Oh I mean our idea to fit Maya's character completely and make her run away. How adorable are these two though?
