Chapter Twenty Eight-A Pregnant Maya

It had been 2 months since Zay and Vanessa moved to New York and 3 months since Maya had found out she was pregnant.She was getting increasingly bigger but no one could tell her that ofcourse or else their heads would get bitten off.
"JOSH I SAID I WANTED A STRAWBERRY MILKSHAKE WITH ICE ON TOP TO EAT NOT TO DRINK.The stupid ice has melted.Oh great and now I need to pee.This is all your fault Joshua Gabriel Matthews."
Yes Maya was already demanding.Josh hurriedly rushed back off to the kitchen whilst Maya waddled over to the bathroom.
"Well Maya I kinda need to go to work soon and you aren't that pregnant yet and you need to continue your painting so can you just stop being so fussy?"
Josh knew he had gone to far before the words came out of his mouth.He heard Maya shouting at him from the bathroom so he quickly packed up his stuff and rushed to the front door.
"Bye sweetie I gotta go to work love you."
Josh made his escape.Maya was enfuriated.

Maya was quietly painting a picture of a mother and a father with their backs facing the viewer.They where in a nursery and were cradling a baby together.She wanted that to be her and Josh in a few months time.She began to sing along to a song that came onto the radio when she got the craving for pizza.Pizza break.She was walking down the street as the pizza parlour was only a few blocks away.A pain shot through her body and it felt like her stomach was being split in two.Maya stumbled her way over to a bench and sat down to try to stop the pain but nothing would work.
"Maya?Are you okay?"
Oh great that's who she needed at this moment in time,Lucas Friar.
"Oh....ah...yeah..I.I just hurt....I'm in a lot of pain."
Lucas sat by her side and gripped hold of her hand.
"You're pregnant?"
"Well obviously I haven't gotten this fat on purpose have I now?"
Lucas chuckled a tiny bit and then lifted Maya up.
"Hey get off of me."
Lucas shook his head and lead Maya to a cab.
"Nope I am taking you to a hospital to get you checked out."
Maya reluctantly agreed and watched as Lucas shut the door and got in the other side.Maya clenched her fists and sat through the pain.

The hospital monitor was beeping.The sound reminded Maya of when she sat with her mother and watched her die.It still hurt to think about that.Lucas was sat in a chair at the aide of her because he insisted on staying.Maya wasn't in the mood for arguing.
"I am sorry Maya for everything that I did at your wedding and at the meal and just for trying to ruin your life.I thought I knew what was best for you but I was obviously wrong.I don't want to be with you anymore I just want to be a friend of yours.I want things to go back to what it used to be like in high school.Please?"
Maya looked at him and nodded.
"I forgive you Lucas."
There conversation was interupted by Josh barging through the door.
"Maya honey I'm so sorry what is wrong?Are you hurt?Is the baby?I'm an idiot for leaving you thismorn--What is he doing here?"
Josh gave Lucas an evil look as he moved to Maya's side.
"Josh it's ok he was just there when I felt ill and he brought me to the hospital.He helped me and thats all."
Josh gave a half nod and then turned back to face Maya.
"So what is wrong?"
"I will just leave now ok."
Lucas got up to leave but Josh stopped him.
"Thanks for helping my wife and my child."
They shook hands and then Lucas left.
"The doctors are running some tests and should be done soon."
Maya and Josh looked into each others eyes and held each others stare until the doctor came in.
"Mrs Matthews,Mr Matthews I assume.We have the information about your fetus.Would you both like to sit down?"
This didn't seem good at all.

LUCAS FRIAR HAD RETURNED TO APOLOGISE TO MAYA. YAYYYY.
I GET TO DECIDE WHAT HAPPENS TO THE BABY. GUESS THE FACT THAT I DON'T PARTICULARLY LIKE CHILDREN HELPS THE CHILD. NOT AT ALL. YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT AND SEE. ITS NOT LIKE WE DECIDE THESE THINGS IN ADVANCE OR ANYTHING. PFFFFTT. NADA. *Awkward laugh*
