Josh had finally decided to do what he had been thinking about for a while. He loved Maya. With all of his love, life and being. He must do what is best for Autumn. That is his daughter. So as much as his universe revolved around his beautiful wife, he had to leave. She was unstable to be around especially with such a young little life in the house. He would stay with Riley and Farkle for a couple of days and then he had a hotel suite booked for however long it would take for Maya to fix herself. He was so very tired of picking up the pieces. This time she would have to get the glue herself. If she couldn't. Well. Then that was the end of the runaway bride and the boy in the beanie and their very strange mess of a life.

It took almost 4 months for May to fix herself. She did so by picking herself up off the floor. To stop feeling sorry for herself and fix what she had left. The first thing she did was visit her mom's grave. She cleaned the tombstone and placed some flowers just in front. She was growing some strawberries nearby in honour of her mom's favourite lipgloss. She cleaned up her apartment and redecorated. She painted the walls and bought new decorations and furniture and turned their house into a home. She finally called back the art gallery that wanted one of her paintings and agreed that a painting is allowed to be hung. She went to auditions and got roles in up-coming shows. Everything she did had a positive effect on her life and that was how she wanted to live forever more. No more negativity. Just shiny from here on out. She was tired of dwelling on the past and decided to face the future. She wanted to change everything that was negative and become happy and positive. She knew that she couldn't just change everything around her and it all would be O.K. She knew that some parts of had to change as well. She had to learn to forgive herself and others for what had happened. She forgave her father. She forgave her mother. She forgave herself for letting herself slip into a depression so bad that she couldn't tell that her husband wash't happy. She went to the gym and bought new clothes and almost got a haircut. Almost.

It was Josh who stopped her from getting one. he noticed her one day while he was walking in the park with Autumn. She was walking along with shopping bags and scripts and ,for once, was actually walking their dog Philly. To his surprise he loved to see her happily walking down the street. She looked happy and care-free and he knew that it wouldn't be a long time until he could move back home with Autumn. He was quite placid watching her walk and stop to talk to people and resume what he presumed was a very long phone conversation with Riley. He was content until he saw Riley come around the corner with a worried expression on her face. His niece then took the bags and Philly from Maya and waved goodbye as Maya entered the hairdressers'.

Two things where not quite right. One the hairdressers wasn't the one she usually went to. Two she had what looked like reading material. Maya never takes reading material to the hairdressers because it never takes a large amount of time in which she would get bored and turn to reading as a source of entertainment. As soon as he realised what was happening across the street, he stopped Autumn from feeding the ducks, strapped her into the buggy and practically ran across Central Park. He burst into the hairdressers' with a desperate, exhausted look on his face. He scanned the room; found Maya's chair and ran over to her. She had a very happy ,if surprised, look on her face.

"Josh! Oh my god. Hi!"

"Maya....." he panted, caught his breath and continued, "you......should....not......cut....your......hair." he said each desperate and adorable word between large gulps of air.

Maya had tears in her eyes. Perhaps from the joy of seeing the love of her life and her precious child after being completely isolated from them for about 4 months, perhaps from the very strong aroma of hairspray in the salon. Either way Josh caught her in loving and warm embrace and it was apparent to everyone in the room that not only where these two people in love but they had not hugged for a very long amount if time. Perhaps that's why they clapped. Perhaps it was because it had been a very mundane day and a simple hug satisfied the drama centred brains of the stylists at the salon. Most likely because epos the latter.

It was one day after that reconciliation in the hair salon that Josh and Autumn moved back home with Maya. Josh was gob smacked with how everything had changed. The beams where painted and the bricks where cleaned. The books had been put back on the shelves after collecting dust on the floor, the windows where freshly painted, the house had new decorations everywhere and there was an air of family that the place screamed. He also noticed that Maya had a membership to the gym and was a yoga fanatic now that lived by the tree pose. She had cleaned and renewed everything. Including herself. It made his heart happy to see that there where pictures of Katy and Shawn and Kermit in the house now. It seemed as thought there was a new person in the house now. In Maya now and Josh couldn't decide if that was good or bad news. He loved Maya and everything about her and although he wanted her to change a few things he didn't want her to change everything. He loved May Hart and was determined to make sure that Maya Hart was still in there somewhere. She most definitely was. When she walked back into the room and jumped on his back he noticed a sparkle in her eye. A mischievous sparkle full of love and mystery. A sparkle that he fell in love with. May saw something as well. She saw a glimmer in his chestnut brown eyes that meant that he loved her and that she loved him. It was what some people would call a fairytale. Perhaps Maya was a princess and Josh was a noble prince that rescued her. It is what they called life. It was the twists and turns and ups and downs that made their life so very special. The highs where fantastic and the lows where hard. It proves that even the most shaky, disturbed and reckless life can be,

Oh

So

Wonderful.
