"I will consider giving you a history lesson on my past, only if you all stop voicing your opinions. Your squeaky voice is giving me a headache as is." Fenrir shook his head slowly, irritation coming off in waves.

"You really shouldn't be that mean to Vanish," Drake stood up for me.

"I wasn't talking about her, human," Fenrir grumbled.

I rolled my eyes at their bickering. "Just speed it up to the story, Fenrir."

"A long time ago," he started off, "I was part of this army of wolves. I had to team up with those ridiculous fire wolves to try to take over a village in a different realm. I realized how idiotic the situation was; the reasoning behind why the village was being taken over for, shouldn't be considered anything but a misguided feud. I left the army of wolves and they didn't take the news lightly. One thing led to another, I returned to this realm and they lost the battle. Then he showed up again and wanted to fight."

"Thanks for the spark notes version. Now what is the whole story?"

"Human, no one gets your human terms." Fenrir turned towards him. "No one, Elve, Critter or Wolf, knows what these 'spark notes' are."

"Its a website that you give the shortest, simplest version of a story or book."

"What is a 'web sight?'" I asked.

"Not sight like what you see. It's a part of the Internet."

"Enter net?" I questioned him.

"Never mind. I'm done! Just continue with the story!" Drake through his hands in the air in a surrendering position.

"Fenrir, you told me you would tell the whole story, not a quick, barely any detailed story." I shook my head in part frustration and part confusion from Drake.

"Fine." He sighed. "The war of Alcalheim, in the realm of the Giants, was the worst war ever. Many died on both sides but mostly our. The main reason why we shouldn't become known is because when there was another realm, besides Devour, my pack joined the war to take over the realm of the Giants. We all were dying in that realm, it was mostly filled with Fea and somehow Iron was growing throughout and killing them off. We needed a new home and the King wanted the realm of the Giants. I didn't understand the full story at first.

"I was told that the Giants were the ones who originally planted a flower in the ground that produced Iron. I felt it was my duty to protect those who needed protection, which at the time had included the Fea. When it came to the 3rd village in the Giants realm being taken over, I found out the truth. The Giants didn't do it. Iron just magickally started to bloom because of our King. Our King had brought it because he knew that if he said it was the Giants, he would get what he wanted. An Army to fight against them all so that he can access the Realm that he was banned from.

"The King was banned for a good cause. He went around slaughtering as he pleased. A Giant stepped to the left instead of the right, he was beheaded. A Giant stepped to the right instead of the left, beheaded. Then, he beheaded the princess in front of the whole Giants Realm. Not that she didn't have it coming, she never stopped talking about the human world. Always visiting, bringing too much attention to us by telling her human stories. That is why Midgard knows so much about the Yggdrasill." He looked pointedly at Drake whose mouth was open, about to say something. With an audible sound, he snapped his mouth closed.

"She got beheaded by him? Why didn't the King just kill the human instead?"

"Because it was His Queens illegitimate child. She wasn't related to the King, he didn't care as much as if it was his own kid. Instead of acting out foolishly, he just banned her lover from the Court, nothing more. That was his last decision as the Giant's King.
