"Someone had broken into our storage. Do you know anything about that, Vanish?" Poppy said, flipping my out of my hamick bed. I landed on the ground with a loud grunt.
"Poppy, if I had broken into it, you wouldn't know. I can reach through anything without breaking it. Poppy, I don't know what happened, but it wasn't me." I said getting up and trying to not show disrespect.
"Why am I having a hard time believing that?"
"I am not sure." I said.
"Well, why wont you look me in the eyes, lass?" Poppy said, crossing his arms.
Sighing, I looked him in the eyes. "I did not break into our storage because I have no use for any of that stuff."
Poppy grunted and left the room. I sighed and fell back on the hammock "How the hell am I going to handle this without letting him know?"
"Let who know what?" I spun around to see Frost.
"I-I can't tell you." I told her.
"Why not?" She said. I tried walking away and after three steps, my feet stopped moving, frozen to the ground. "Really, Frost?"
"Babe, you tell me everything. Why not this?"
"I am not allowed to Frost, I promise, if I could I would tell you." I said vanishing my feet out of the Ice and walking to the bathroom. She started skipping after me.
"Well, I came with a message from Stinchy Misty."
"That's not nice, at all." I glared at her.
"Look, I came to tell you that they should be here at about midnight tonight." She cocked her head to the side, "do you want some help?"
"If you truly knew what that message was about, you would know I am the only one who is on this mission." I looked at her pointedly.
"Okay, true. Vanish, I could help you, you know I can." She stuck her bottom lip out a bit. I took in her whole look. The perfect face. Perfectly symmetric eyes and lips. Blonde hair with green tips in a messy pony with her hair still flowing down to her ribs. Perfect body and, well, what every Elve dreams of.
"Okay, true, you could help a lot. But Misty said just me, and I don't want to have to watch my back as well as yours. Plus, I am not even sure I know what I am doing, yet." I said brushing my hair into a pony.
"Well, want to go hunting later?" She asked me, and I was thankful for the subject change. If she kept it up any longer, I would of cracked.
"How can I say no when you give me that face?" I said giggling.
"Well, in that case, can I go with you to your Mission?" She winked at me.
"Uh-well, Frost.. I don't know..."
"Please! Come on, Vanish. What could go wrong?" She dropped to her knees, begging me to go.
"You could die."
"Doubtful. Do you not know who I am?" She laughed at me. "I'm Frost! I don't die. I am too good for death."
"Ugh, fine! I will talk to Misty about it. I need to go see her, if you don't mind." I said, moving my hands indicating she should get off the floor. She pounced on me and nearly knocked me over. "Woah, there. Please let go. I can't breath!"
~*~
"Misty." I said, bowing.
"Vanish, how nice of you to come." She nodded in response.
"I would like Frost to come with me on my mission." I spat out before I lost the guts to say anything.
"Oh... Really?" She looked at me funny.
