*Knock, Knock.*

I stayed silent. The door opened anyway and I felt a cold nose touch my shoulder. "I never said you could come in."

"I never thanked you for saving me." Fenrir replied. I heard him lay down next to my hammock.

"Are you scared?" I asked him.

"Of what is to come? No, child. It will happen, but so will the one to save us all. I will be looking forward to this, very much." He grumbled.

"Will you do something for me, Fenrir?" I asked him. He growled but I knew he would do what I was going to ask of him. "Will you stay by Pappy's side. Protect her just in case..."

"Yes, my dear. I will." I could tell he was speaking the truth.

"When I find out, I will come and let you guys know. I will take you guys to a spot hidden that no one knows about." I rolled over to face him. With out realizing what I was doing, I started to pet Fenrir. It seemed to soothe him and comfort him."Thank you."

"Welcome." He snuggled closer to me.

"Vanish? It is time." Frost whispered from my doorway. I nodded and stood up.

"Where are you meeting them?" Fenrir asked.

"The skirts of our side of the Realm." I told him.

"Well, do you guys need a ride?" He asked. I smiled, stifling a laugh but I shook my head.

"You must stay here." I looked at him pointedly. I reached for Frost's hand and my bow, arrows and my own Sword. She had her spear in her hand and a Sword on her hip. I sighed and took us to a tree branch high in the canopy, where the Dark ones should be crossing from. There was a cry from the sky and when I looked up, I saw Phoenix. I silently cursed at him and Misty. He dove at us, landing on a branch close by. "I told Misty no one comes but Frost and I." I growled at him.

He rolled his eyes. "Please, Misty can't control me."

"Ha, that's a good joke. You are beyond whipped." Frost said, making whipping noises.

"I'm here to give you this." He handed us each a box. In it were a necklace for each of us. It smelled delightful and I knew it had herbs in it. "They will help you heal quickly if cut by those evil, ugly people."

"Tell Misty I said thanks for these." I said, putting it around my neck.

"Misty didn't send me." Phoenix said in a "How ridiculous" voice.

"Then who?"

"They are from me." He lept to my branch and grabbed my wrist. He tied a woven bracelet with a bird carved from wood, around it. "This is also from me. So that no matter what happen tonight, you know I will always be with you."

"I'm not going to die. I don't understand why you are giving this to me." I shook my head.

"I am leading the Warriors tonight." He said. My breath got stuck in my throat at those six words. He grabbed the back of my head and leaned forward to kiss my forehead. It sent chills down my spine and switched from being cold, to a blissful fire.

"Thank you."

"Good luck." He said before dropping down and flying away.

"You, too." I whispered.

"I knew you had a thing with him!" Frost muttered, a bug smile on her face.

I rolled my eyes. "Nothing happened between us."

"Yet."

"Never."

"Never say never."

"You never shut up and mind your own business do you?" I laughed.
