I whipped out my Poppy's sword and held it between the Red Caps and I. With a sigh, I heard Drake follow my stance. My hand had an Iron grip, but when I tried to change my hands position, it wouldn't move. This sword was one with me and I had all the confidence in the world.

With a large roar from all the Red Caps, they came charging with clubs held high. I took off towards the right, Fenrir to the left. Mexx swung his club down and I Vanished on to his back. "Let's go Blade," I whispered to my Poppy knowing he could hear everything through this sword. The hilt gave a warmed pulse and I knew Poppy was communicating. I slit Mexx's throat and tumbled down to the ground, his body turning to debris underneath my knees on the ground.

Dangle and Slit were just staring at me while Fenrir was busy fighting the other one, I never caught his name. "Just a tiny Liosalfar, huh?" I smiled up from under my lashes.

They both shared a look and then turned towards me, running full speed. One swung at my waist, the other one swung down towards my head. I became transparent and swung, slicing Dangle's leg. He cursed but once they realized what was happening with me, they took running towards Drake.

I appeared in front of Drake, whose eyes were as big as saucers with fear. This idiot could get killed out here in this realm just by seeing a plant move in the wind. How isn't the ruffling of the leaves not scaring him?

The two Red Caps cursed again but kept charging, swinging their clubs like wild men. I brought my sword up, blocking Dangles blow. Dangle pushed on his club with his other hand, bringing the spike closer to my head inch by inch. I greeted my teeth, looking for an opening. Tossing my foot out, I put my heel into his knee and jumped up. I wrapped my legs around his neck, sliding my sword up along his club cutting off the spikes. My legs squeezed and my arm slid forward, piercing into his skull.

We fell to the ground, landing on my back on debris. Slit's club came into view, flying towards my face. I rolled over just in time. Getting to my knees, I swung at his knee, hoping to slice the back of it.   Slit deflected the blow and kicked me in the chest, sending me a few feet back and on top of the red wolf without his organs. Very squishy organs, at that.

Crawling onto my hands, breath still knocked out of me, Slit's foot came in contact with my ribs earning him a scream in pain and a nice crack of my ribs. I rolled a few times, finally resting on my face. The Red Cap grabbed my hair and pulled me up, holding my in the air by my hair. I tried kicking at him, but his arms were too long. I couldn't cut his arm, I had dropped the sword.

"Well, Liosalfar, how about I collect from you what I want?" Slit laughed at me. I spit at his face, it landing on his nose. He roared at the disrespect and smashed my into the tree. A tree branch went through my side, but I didn't scream this time. I wouldn't give him that satisfaction.

He grabbed me by the throat and started choking me. Black dots started clouding my vision, taking over my eyes completely. I heard a grunt and my hair was dropped, relieving me of that pain. I stayed attacked to the tree branch. I felt warm hands on my hips, pulling me off of the branch. I felt the ground under me aswell as legs.

My eyes fluttered open and I saw Drake above me. "You okay?" He asked.

"My bag," was all I said through the pain.

He picked me up in his arms and carried me back to the bags. Fenrir trotted towards us, meeting us there. Drake laid me down and handed me one small bag. I opened it, grabbed a healing Elixir and drank it. The bit on my shoulder closed up and I had to drink another for my side. I grabbed an Energy Elixir and sat up, feeling it instantly.

"Need anything?" I asked Fenrir. He shook his head no and I nodded. I glanced at the tree I was stuck on. If I couldn't defend myself against Red Caps, what makes me think I can go up against the Svaltafers? They were worse than Red Caps, and I was knocked out by them two moons ago. I was not one to rescue my people. I was not one who could fight and make it through this to make sure they made it home.
