Worthless or Purpose.

"Pappy?" I called as I searched the house for her. I found her in Poppy and hers room speaking like they were in an arguement. "Oh, my apologies. I wasn't aware." I stuttered, turning for the living room.

"Vanish, did you know Animilia was the one who got into our storage?" He said speaking to me but glaring at Pappy. I froze, caught off guard.

"Uhm, come again?" I stuttered in surprise.

"I said," his voice sounded calm with a malice tone slithering and building up behind it, "did you know if your Pappy was the one who got into our storage."

"Oh, well, I haven't been around lately. I have been busy practicing my shooting and hunting for the Hunting Games." I muttered. It wasn't exactly a lie. Considering I had practiced my shooting for hunting and I guess following the Dark Ones are a type of Hunting Game. Technically...

"Your shooting? Well, isn't that just ironic that the only thing that was taken, was Passion's Bow and Arrow?" He shot daggers at me and I took an involuntary step back.

"Blade, the child had nothing to do wit-" Pappy was cut off by Poppy's back hand.

"Silence, you have done enough. I don't care what you have to say. You went against me. You have done enough."

Pappy got up in one fluid motion. "...you hit me." Poppy held his hand up, ready to smack her again. Without thinking I vanished my hand to where my Bow and Arrow was, grabbed it and took aim.

"I wouldn't do that!" I yelled before he striked for the second time.

"And why is that?" He said turning his head to me. A slow smile popped on his face, his evil, venomous smile. "Oh, someone is getting a bit risky. You want to use a weapon?"

I pulled the arrow back further. His laugh rang through the room, vibrating on the walls and echoing in my mind. "Let's dance, little girl." He grabbed his sword from behind the couch and swung at my Bow, cutting it in half. I felt my eyebrows burrow. Growling at him, I vanished to the storage in time to grab my mothers, reappearing infront of him. "Nah, uh, uh. No gifts."

"Then you better be a true Elve and put down that sword." I said dodging his thrust. "Isn't your gift with blades?" I took aim and shot at him. He deflected it with a simple twist of his wrist. The arrow bounced off his sword. I took aim again, trying to distract him with a shoot. Once the Arrow left my touch, I vanished behind him, shooting past his head. He barely turned before I disappeared to where I was originally and shot him in his hand. He cried in shock and pain.

"You worthless hybrid!" He yelled, spinning the sword and finally chucking it at me. I shot one of my moms arrows, intercepting the sword and making it tumble down. I shot again and got him in the shoulder. He got thrown into the wall along with the arrow, stuck there.

"Worthless? I would rather be that than a pathetic old man. The difference between you and I, is that I can easily change that status where as with you, you will always be that." I spat at his feet.

"Vanish, I think you should go practice your hunting for the games." Pappy said walking to Poppy and pulling the Arrows out. She started bandaging the wounds when I caught a glimpse of gratitude in her eyes when she glanced at me. I nodded and vanished to the place I told Frost I would be.

"Hey! I was getting worried you wouldn't show." Frost jumped down from a tree with a squirrel in her hands.

"There were complications." I said in a monotoned voice. "What's his name?"

"Who yelled at who? I don't know, maybe Bushy."

"No one yelled. Poppy and I fought. He hit Pappy and went for it again, so I interceded." I looked around the meadow.

"Details!" She let Bushy go and walked towards me.

"He broke my bow, I took my moms bow and shot at him. I ended up shooting him in the hand and shoulder while I didn't get a scratch. Can we hunt now?" I said catching whiff of some Hati, a form of wolves. I chased the scent, going against the strong wind. I vanished into the trees above, keeping an eye on the wolf. It had just taken down a Buck and was tearing the skin off. I took aim at the enormous lone wolf. I had no intentions of taking the wolf for dinner, they weren't considered food with me. I wanted to scare him so I could have the Buck.

I was about to let go of the arrow when someones dagger entered his flank. The wolf fell over and thats when I saw how hurt he was. You could see his muscles clearly, the blood was dry. The wolf couldn't get up and I couldn't handle seeing him die. I jumped down, in a protective stance over the wolf. I looked straight ahead, Arrow at aim, looking for the source. The wolf growled up at me.

"Oh, silence wolf. I am helping you." I muttered, not bothering to glance at him. I caught the light bounce off a dagger before it was thrown at us. My arrow connected with the persons bag of Daggers and I vanished before being hit.

"I don't need your help." The wolf growled at me again.

"Clearly, you do. Play dead." He growled after I said that but agreed to.

"Thats my kill!" The hunter yelled.

"This is not your kill! I was hunting with him! He is mine!" I yelled, ready to aim again when they finally got their bag from being nailed to the tree.

"Well, how was I supposed to know! Half his skin is gone!" The guy said walking up.

"I never asked for a reply from you. Now take your stupid dagger and leave." I said as I yanked it out of the wolfs side and and threw it into the tree next to the hunter. He took it and ran.

"What's your name, chump?" I asked.

"Like it matters. Leave me be, as my dying wish." He whispered. I could hear the strain in his voice as he whispered to me.

"Vanish, did you get those for our Feast before our mission?" Frost said sliding up next to me. She was carrying a Nicker water horse in her hand.

"Frost! No, he is hurt and I am taking him to Pappy so she can heal him. Come on, wolfie."

"Don't call me that."

"What should I call you then?"

"Fenrir."
