I know it's long over due, and I do want to apologize. So here is what I have and I will get to the next chapter as soon as possible. Thank you all for continuing to read my story even while I was going through a big writers block!

Hope you all enjoy this chapter! Don't forget to tell me what you all think :)

It only took an hour, almost killing myself and almost killing others, to get to Drake's old place where the old couple were still rocking in their chairs. I stopped the car at the end of the street, taking the stick out of the hole I'm here. I am actually, really, here. I am one step closer to finding Drake and Jon. I am out of the house looking and doing something unlike yesterday. Or even two hours ago. I felt like I was back on track of my mission. I said I would save my Village, my People, and I consider Drake and his father a part of my People. I have grown close with them and trust them, they haven't shown me reasons otherwise. And I need Drake to get my Village back to begin with.

I opened his journal, and began reading. I needed to see how far away she lived. I couldn't remember how far down from his house she lived. So I began reading. Four houses down, that's how far away she was. I wasn't sure in what direction, but I was willing to try them all. What's the worst thing that could happen? They close the door on my face because they think I am insane and at the wrong house? I already know I am insane.

I walked up to the first door and rapidly tapped my closed fist on the chipped, faded red paint. One two-three. I waited for the results to open the door. I had no Idea what Amber looked like; was a short blonde going to open the door? A tall, big boned woman with chestnut hair, emerald iris' and a round nose, opened the door and looked me up and down. Was she sizing me up?

I set my shoulders back and lifted my chin, "hello, I am Vani--err, Vanessa, and I was wondering if Amber was home?"

"Are you here for the drum circle?" She asked. If it wasn't for the obvious physical features screaming 'female,' I would of thought she was male. Her vocal chords sounded rough and raspy. I knew humans smoked and this is what happened to most of them, I wondered if that was the reasoning behind sounding so demonic.

"Yes, actually." I went with it. I wasn't sure why humans had drum circles in this realm, and I was happy I found the correct house, but something seemed off.

"Where is your drum?"

"Uhh, well, truth is--"

"Only liars start off by saying truth is. What is your reasoning for being here?"

:I had no idea if that was the truth or not, I rarely lie. Lately, though, I have had to lie so often that even I don't know whether I am speaking the truth or not. "I am here for the drum circle, ma'am,  but I don't own a drum. Truth is, this would be my first Drum circle. I don't have much experience in Paganism and I was told this was the place to come to learn more about it."

"Hmmph," her eyes squinted as she stared at me. It was like she was trying to tell whether I was lying, but having a hard time doing so. She stepped to the side and let me in. I thought it would be more difficult to get in, but I was proven wrong. I honestly didn't think she would let me in at all. I took in a deep breath and took a step over the threshold. She closed the door behind me and muttered something about following her. As I did, I took in the scenery of the house and it's awful decorations. They had statues of faeries and pixies all over. They didn't even match or follow the same theme.

There were animal heads sticking out of the walls, which made me lose my appetite altogether. Here, it's weird. They show off their killings for the duration of their lives. In Devour, we had competitions, but we never kept their carcass. We showed it off for less than a day before we took it all apart, sold what we didn't need and ate what we did.
