I DIDN'T WAKE up until almost noon, I guessed my dad decided to let me sleep in today. The sleep did me some good though. I was recharged and ready to conquer the day, but first i needed something to eat.

I was about to leave my room when i saw there was a text message from an unknown number

I was about to leave my room when i saw there was a text message from an unknown number. For a moment i wondered who it could have been but then i realized it was from the girl that i had met yesterday.

Hey! Are we still hanging out today?  The text said.

What's your name again? I texted back, since she seemed to not have any manners at all.

LOL. It's Annabeth Westerly. She replied.

Well, where do you want to meet up?  I asked.

How about the park? Around 3? And we can walk from there?

Sounds good. I texted back. I left my phone on my bed and left my room.

I walked downstairs and to the kitchen, and found some leftovers from dinner last night. No not the rabbit but the chicken that i wasn't able to finish.

I placed the chicken in the microwave and let it warm while i got myself some cranberry juice. My dad was gone already and i figured probably to his work--which i didn't know what he did yet. He did leave me a note on the table, next to the note with my mom's number, that said:

I'LL BE HOME AT 5:00. --Dad

After i was done eating, i decided to call my mom. I had been waiting a good few days to do it and now i had what i needed in my possession. I went back upstairs to change clothes and to get my phone to call my mom. I changed into a black band shirt and black skinny jeans. Slipped on my high-top chuck taylor's and a black hood.

I grab my phone and dialed the number on the note and headed back down the stairs to the livingroom. I turned on the tv  to make some background noise in the house--it was too quiet.

There was two rings before she picked up.

"Mia, is that you?" she answered.

"Yes, mom, it is I, your loving daughter who now has an addiction to rabbit heads," I joked.
