THE SKY WAS blue and clear today, with no clouds in sight. It was still pretty cold even with the sun out, thankfully I had remembered to grab my black denim jacket and my two toned Harry Potter scarf (my mom had knitted it for me when I was thirteen) on that I felt pretty warm. With the except of my nose which was a soft pink almost red color, not to mention it was numb from the cold air. I had placed the scarf over my nose and mouth but it kept slipping down every time I would move my head.

I had been obsessed with the supernatural world every since I was little and now knowing that those things did exist, it was crazy. I wondered if there were real witches and wizards running around, casting  spells on one another. I was sure they did exist though, because I was surrounded by werewolves. Hell, even my dad was one too. The only thing I didn't know was, how they felt about them. Were they enemies or friends? I would have to ask my dad when I got home.

I wondered if he woke up and was scared to find me gone. I hadn't left a note or anything when I slipped out of the house this morning to catch the sunrise again.

Speaking of sunrise, there it was slowly rising from the ground. It looked exactly the way it did in movies but better. It was even more breathing taking he second time around.

"Here comes the sun," I sang, the Beatles song suddenly coming into mind. "Do do do  do. And I say, It's all right."

I pulled my camera up and snapped a few times before turning around to climb back down and leaving my little ledge

The fallen foliage was so beautiful, the way it covered the forest floor and made it appear a golden orange. The leafs softly crunched underneath my feet, as i moved my way down the trail. Nearby a bird landed on a boulder to pick at the moss for insects to eat. I pulled the camera lens to my face and snapped a picture just as it was about to fly away. I previewed the shot and it was stunning. I had caught the bird in mid-flight with it's wings spread out, that it looked like it was floating.

"Little girls shouldn't be alone in the forest." A husky voice filled the silence. I froze and stopped breathing for a few moments. "What's the matter? Scared?"

I gulped down and slowly turned around to face whoever it was, that had spoke.

It was a guy dressed in running shorts and a neon green windbreaker jacket. His black hair was messy and his beard was slowly growing back on his face. His eyes were a chocolate brown. He had on one of those bands for your arms, where his phone sat with headphones that connected to the buds near his ears; he had taken them out.

"Stalkers shouldn't reveal themselves until their done stalking," I retorted.

He looked at me not amused, and then said, "You must be Mia." I was taken a back that he knew who I was and by name.

"And you are?" I questioned. Geez, did everyone know who I was?

"Gerrard." He answered.
