As soon as the howls stopped, everyone went into action. The feast was over. Cecelia and Jason came over to me.

"We need to get you somewhere safe." Cecelia said, her face full of worry.

"No where is safe," I told her. "He can get to me anywhere."

"Mia!" Alpha Nicholas called to me, as he walked over. I moved to meet him half way and Cecelia and Jason both followed after me.

"He's here. I know." I said, before he could say anything to me.

"But he's stuck at the Washington border, I didn't grant him passage." He informed. "I did, however, tell him that we would meet him there."

"I guess it's time to face the music," I grimly joked. Alpha Nick nodded.

"I'll head out to the border." Robert told Alpha Nicholas. "Make sure the situation doesn't get out of control."

"Good idea. Brutus tends to get people riled up pretty fast when I'm not around. Be careful." He warned. "I'll be right behind you."

"I'll go too, if that's alright, and see if I can convince Malcolm to return home." My dad volunteered.

"Alright, i'll bring Mia once were all done here."

Robert and a women, who I assumed was his mate, and my dad turned and left. Everyone was standing around for orders from their Alpha. The mood had suddenly changed.

"Joshua. Greyson. Go to the border too and make sure they don't cross over." Alpha Nicholas ordered. The two men he called stepped forward. They looked like brothers.

"Yes, Alpha." Both men said in unison and turning to leave.

"We have visitors in the neutral land." Alpha Nicholas announced. "Alpha Malcolm, as well as the Boise pack are at our borders. I will take a few with me to see what he wants and I want the rest of you to return home and wait for my word."

The crowd slowly dispersed and they all left back to their homes.

"Jason. Cecelia. Go home." Alpha Nicholas ordered. They didn't protest, but simply nodded their heads in respect for their Alpha and left without another word. He then turned to the women next to him. His mate and wife, I presumed. "Go home. Stay with Nolan and the pups. Keep everyone calm and in line while I'm gone." He instructed. She nodded and gave him a gentle kiss before turning to leave.

Now only Alpha Nicholas, Bradley and Charlotte, and I were left.

"They wouldn't dare to cross without permission." Charlotte stated.

"We can't rely on laws to keep Malcolm at bay," Alpha Nicholas voiced. "We need to go and make sure he doesn't cause any trouble."

"Is there an Alpha and pack in Washington too?" I wondered.
