Bam leaned down to kiss the top of his daughter's head. Her curly hair was so much like his own, but the color was much darker, like yours. It had taken him a while to get used to working with the thick texture of her hair. But once he learned how to work with her soft locks, it became his favorite task. Bam objected when you called it a task.
"You make it sound like its something I have to do." His face was so serious as he spoke. "It's something I want to do. It's something I love to do." He insisted as he gently kissed your lips.
He turned and held his arms out and picked up his small daughter. He kissed the silky skin of her cheek, giving her the smile he reserved just for her. Her happy grin made her gray eyes crinkle behind her little wire-rimmed glasses.
"Come on my beautiful girl." He bounced her a little in his arms to make her giggle. "Do you know that you look just like your mommy?"
You blinked back your tears as you looked at the two most important people in your life. You smiled through your tears when you caught sight of the little pink hairbrush sticking out of Bam's back pocket.Peering back at you over Bam's shoulder, your little girl waved her tiny fingers.
"More, Mommy!"
