Chapter 2: Griffe is Born!

After Tyrone had landed outside the labs team Phoenix entered the building. Each member covered on bruises, cuts, and slight burn marks.

Once everyone entered Lilith turned to the group and said, "You're alive!? I mean of course you're alive. I knew you guys would complete that job! Soooooo how was it?" She'd take the scale from Leonidas beginning to inspect it.

"Well, we nearly fell to our death, we were almost crushed to death, and we were nearly burned to death. Other than that is was just fine." Nitro said putting on his black cloak.

"Awww...really? That does sound a lot more fun than this. I used to be an S-Rank Dotato back in my day."

"Yeah that's nice can we get our money?" Leonidas yelled from across the room looking at random papers of Liliths' research.

"Alright alright. Since this was technically an S-Rank mission..." She'd
pause for a second before beginning to smile. "Your payment issss~" Lilith would begin to spin around striking a pose pointing a finger in the air. "YOU THREE WILL BECOME OFFICIAL MEMBERS OF MY NEW SOCIETY GRIFFE!"

"Wait. So we aren't getting paid!?" Eric yelled in shock. "Nah I'm throwing this scale away."

"Hmm?" Lilith tilted her head in confusion. "Okay. Reject an opportunity to be trained under an S-Rank Dotato. You guys can stay weak and irrelevant and get evicted while I sit here and drink my hot chocolate. Hmmm."

"Alright." Nitro walked towards Lilith and put his hand out nodding. "Team Phoenix from now on will be members of the Griffe society."

"Great." Lilith would smirk. "You guys will live here now. Share a room or don't. I don't care." Lilith would walk off to her room. "If any of you come in here while I sleep. I'll kill you." She'd close the door behind her.

Once she left all of team Nitro would walk off to their new room. Each member wearing shorts and a t-shirt. Nitro and Leonidas would each sit in their own beds while Eric would be left on the floor.

The next day as the sun would slowly rise up a loud screaming would be hurt from Lilith as she'd levitate each member up. "UP UP UP GET UP!" She'd yell walking off pulling Nitro, Eric, and Leonidas behind her setting them down. "Today is day one of your training."

"Alright alright." Leonidas said yawning. "What are we going to be doing today?"

"Playing Tag!" Lilith exclaimed loudly with a smile. "Here are the rules. I'm it and if any of you can avoid me all day you guys pass. However, if I get all of you you'll do whatever I say for the week! Ready.....GO!" She yelled loudly.

All three members of the trio ran off forgetting they were all in shorts, barefoot, and that it was the middle of winter. As they ran down the icy street each one struggling to keep balance Lilith came sprinting down the street with a smile.

"We should've grabbed some clothes!" Nitro yelled slipping and sliding on the street on his back.

"That would've been smart!" Leonidas yelled sliding down behind Nitro.

"I'm going to die out here!" Eric yelled grabbing onto a pole and using it to swing himself to the right going down another street.

"That one first." Lilith said leaping onto a roof and following Eric.

"Alright." Leonidas said. "We just have to go a few more hours and we'll be safe!"

Eric would've collapsed and began to shiver severely. "I can't go on anymore!"

"Eric don't be a baby bitch get your ass up and-" Leonidas would freeze mid sentence as he turned around Lilith dropping down behind him.

"Hi guys!" Lilith yelled stepping forward reaching out to grab Leonidas.

"NOT TODAY!" Leonidas would yell flipping back landing on his feet and beginning to skate away.

"WAIT FOR ME!" Nitro yelled as the black markings appeared around his body he'd fade into a shadow and move away faster than his previous running speed.

"WOW! HOW ARE YOU GUYS GONNA ABANDON ME LIKE THAT!" He'd begin to rapidly crawl away from Lilith screaming loudly.

"And that is now one out." Lilith would say poking Erics head. "You're out." She'd snap her fingers
Transporting him back to her office.

Nitro and Leonidas would continue to run stopping to take a break.

"Did we get away? Leonidas said looking around for Lilith.

"No." Lilith said leaping off a building flying towards the two.

"Okay we can probably stall her a little bit." Leonidas yelled throwing a punch at Lilith.

Lilith landed on the ground ducking back watching Leonidas' fist fly past her face before throws a jab at his chest.

Nitro would leap into the air throwing a kick downwards sending a ray of shadows towards Lilith.

Leonidas would jump preforming a backflip landing on his feet. Once he regains his footing he'd look up to see Nitro and Lilith in combat.

Nitro would be seen throwing several punches his fist surrounded in a black aura. After he threw another punch Lilith would spin to the side avoiding it effortlessly moving her hand to Nitro's face.

Leonidas would slide across the ice his foot aimed at Lilith's leg.

Lilith would turn noticing Leonidas and leaping into the air.

The two teammates would sprint off after Lilith would leap into sky. Arriving in the down town district and stopping at a lake that somehow wasn't frozen.

Lilith would drop down behind the two smirking.

"GO ON WITHOUT ME!" Nitro yelled to Leonidas. "We both know I can't swim."

"No we can both escape." Leonidas said
preparing to dive into the lake.

"Just get in the water!" Nitro yelled pushing Leonidas in as Lilith grabbed and pulled him into a forceful hug.
"Twoooooo." She'd smirk.

Leonidas dove into the water beginning to swim away. "I'LL WIN FOR YOU AND ERIC!" He'd swim towards the other side of the lake crawling onto shore panting heavily. He'd look at a clock smirking. "Oh! Just 5 more minutes!" He'd begin to run and accidentally slip on the ice slamming his shoulder on the ice. "AHHHH!" His loud scream would alert Lilith with his location.

Lilith would quickly leap out of the water grabbing Leonidas' foot. "Done!"

"NOOOOOOOOOOO!" Leonidas would scream loudly.

-One week later.-

"Leonidas bring me something to drink." She'd whistle leaning back in her chair.

As Leonidas growled a woman with light brown shoulder length hair of average height and a rather curvaceous body stepped in. She wore a white blouse and silver sparkled skirt "Uhm. Is this the Grifge Society?"
