Chapter 8: The Power of Shadows Nitro vs Servus

After the victory Leonidas had over Milo Griffe would sit in their building. Everyone cheering. Lilith would be seen hugging Nitro tightly.

"Nitro you better win or else I'll be sad." She'd continue to hug him tightly refusing to let go of him.

"Alright alright. Just let me go!" Nitro would begin to struggle while in her grip. "Besides I won't need that pill you gave Leonidas. I can win on my own."

"Piss off." Leonidas would yell from the other side of the room. "I didn't need that to win."

"And you'll see that I don't need it either." Nitro would smirk. "Just wait and see." Little did the others know Nitro had a pill in his pocket.

The next day the teams would meet. The arena for this battle would be on a lake that wasn't frozen. The only land would be a small stage in the center. Nitro would leap onto the stage as the final member of Spector would already be waiting for him.

"I Servus in the name of Spector will not lose." He'd raise his hand slowly pointing forward a torrent of water slamming into Nitro and dragging him into the water.

"HUH GUYS HELP-" He'd yell before he'd be dragged down under water.

Leonidas and Eric would yell in shock about to dive into the water.

"Don't interfere." Lilith would yell. "Nitro will be fine."

While the two were underwater Nitro would hold his breath while exchanging punches with Servus. Okay just stay calm. Nitro would aim his hands firing a ray of shadows at Servus who would avoid it easily and swim forward.

As he got closer Servus would slam a fist into Nitro's stomach before he'd swing his foot a torrent of water slamming into his back. He'd create several more pillars of water slamming them into Nitro.

Nitro would be at a huge disadvantage flailing around in the water wildly while Servus would continue to attack him. I can't move and if I try to get back to land he'll drag me back! Nitro would be interrupted in his thoughts as Servus would swim around him slamming several punches and kicks into his body.

Servus would grab Nitro before slamming a fist into his stomach causing him to cough out some of the air he was holding.

Nitro would slowly drift away. Wait there is a way I can keep up! Nitro would have black markings surround his body as he'd fade into a shadow moving at a rapid pace slamming a fist into Servus. Perfect! Nitro and Servus would both move around the lake in their own ways slamming into each other to attack. As Servus swam closer Nitro would vanish appearing behind him and slamming his elbow into his back sending him deeper into the water.

As Servus would sink a blue aura would surround him. He'd suddenly shoot out of the water much faster than before slamming a knee into Nitro's chin before swimming around him and ramming his fist into his chest. He'd continue to swim around several torrents of water slamming into him.

He's faster than before. Nitro's markings would glow black as he'd move around the water moving towards Servus the two beginning to throw rapid punches at each other. However, during the clash Nitro would miss his punches and Servus would land all of his.

Hmph. Servus would swim back before rocketing forward slamming his shoulder into Nitro before swimming around behind him. He'd swing his hand downward as another pillar of water would slam into his back.

On the land the others would stare into the water.

"What if Nitro dies?!" Leonidas would yell trying his best to remain still.

"I said he'll be fine! Just trust that Nitro knows what he's doing."

Nitro would slowly sink down in the water before shooting back up to Servus attempting to mimic the attack his opponent preformed but missing. Nitro would instead fly out of the water gasping for air. As he got to breath a water hand would shot up and drag him back down. Several more water fists would slam into various parts of Nitro's body before one final one would slam downwards onto him. Nitro's markings would slowly fade away as he drifted down.

Servus would stare down a smirk on his face. Another victory for Spector. Servus would slowly swim back up before turning around noticing something.

While he was sinking Nitro had eaten the pill he took. His marks appearing as he'd close his eyes before opening them everything in his eyes turning completely black as a black aura would shoot off of him up through the water into the sky.

The Griffe members watched in wonder at what had just happened.

Nitro would rocket forward towards Servus shadows shooting out of his feet he'd slam a fist into his stomach. He'd continue to rocket upwards until they both shot out of the water. Nitro's scream of power would be heard as the two flew up. "I'm not going back into the water!" Nitro would yell letting go of Servus flying up higher before creating two whips of shadows and swing them both in an X fashion slashing Servus across the chest. "This is for nearly drowning me!" Nitro would grab Servus's chest and shoot shadows from his feet to give the two more speed as they fell.

"HE'S WINNING!?" Eric stared in shock as a black line formed in the sky as the two went down.

Nitro would slam Servus into the stage creating a small blast of shadows and a dust cloud to rise. When the dust cleared Nitro would be seen his markings vanishing as he'd turn letting out a loud scream into the sky.

Rex would growl in frustration realizing the score was now tied and that his an Lilith's battle would be the one that decide who would win the war between Spector and Griffe.
