Chapter 28:The Eyes of Maliza

"What is that?" Brooklyn stared at the tube which contained an eye.

"That can't be...The Eye of Maliza?" Adalina stared in shock. "It's said that an Ancient Goddess had created those eyes so chaos could be created. An Ancient King had those eyes and was able to conquer his opponents."

"That's exactly what it is. Sander has the other one. So why didn't you destroy it!" Rex slammed his fist into the wall angrily.

"I can't destroy history like this!" Lilith protested. "I'm protect this until I die."

"So...Sander had the other eye currently?" Brooklyn asked crossing her arms.

"Yes. The eyes full power can't be achieved unless both are active. We don't even know of the eyes full powers. We just know it has several colors which change it's ability. Red the power of illusions. Only those with strong enough wills can overcome them. Others suffer from constantly mental trauma. Blue the power of control. We don't know how it works but the user can suddenly take control of another's body. Grey the power of flames. The user can release enough flames with enough heat to melt an entire section of this city and the final one we know about is purple the amplifier. It increases the users capabilities to massive levels" Lilith began to explain. "Sander wants both eyes to see what he can do with their full potential. Who knows if he discovered another color."

"But we do know what will happen if he has both." Rex began to spoke. "Maliza had loved Chaos so much that when both are put together the user can open a portal to unleash several demons. Which is why I say we destroy it."

"No!" Lilith responded. "I'm not destroying the eyes."

"Good." A man's voice would be heard as he entered the room. "Because Master Sander needs that." A black portal would form as he'd reach his hand inside of it. His hand would suddenly appear in front of the tube grabbing it and pulling away. "Alright time to bring this to Master Sander." He'd walk out of the lab calmly. Once outside he'd look around. "I can't make a portal from this distance....damn." He'd begin to run off.

Brooklyn would be the first one out the door quickly running after the man. "Stop!" She'd yell loudly throwing one of her knives at him.

The man would leap into another portal before he'd appear on the roof of a building continuing to run.

"Hm." Brooklyn would begin to run up along the side of he wall towards the roof. "Hmph." She'd remove one of her metal bracelets her speed suddenly shooting up as she'd appear in front of the man slamming her pole into his stomach knocking him off the roof.

The man would land on his feet making sure the tube was fine. "Phew. Okay it's safe. Where is she?"

"Here." Brooklyn would speak landing in front of the man. "Once bracelet should be enough for you." She'd aim her pole at him. "I will be your opponent."

"Brookyn eh?" The man would look his opponent over. "Well I'm Bruce.
I hope you're ready to face death."

Brooklyn began to smirk. "I'm prepared for anything."

Sander's eyes would change to blue as he'd posses a guard at the castle. He'd look up noticing that the Manta was arriving at the castle. The guard's eyes would change back to normal as Sander looked towards a hooded man. "They're here. Are you sure you don't want to stay?"

"Yes." The figure nodded walking off. "He isn't ready to face me yet."

"Great. Then I'll kill him." Sander looked at the roof. "The second Eye Of Maliza will be mine and when I have it. I'll unleash it's full potential just as was intended." Sander would begin to laugh loudly. "I will become the new God Of Chaos!"

"Geez." The man continued to walk off. "He is really insane."

The group sent to find Nitro had landed and instead of using the front door had decided to make their own entrance by slamming through a wall.

As each one landed Leonidas had crashed onto something. That something was Nitro.

"OW! GET THE HELL OFF ME!" Nitro yelled loudly.

"Oh what's good?" Leonidas stood up looking down at Nitro. "Glad you're still alive."

"Yeah. Me too. I think I more or less figured out how we get to Sander." Nitro stood up as well. "Are you guys ready?"

"Yes!" Eric, Lucy, and Leonidas all responded.
