Chapter 37:Demon Hunting

Lilith yawned walking into Griffe levitating two boxes. "EVERYONE I HAVE PRESENTS FOR YOU!" She'd yell loudly as everyone came running in.

"Is it you'll finally stop harassing me?" Nitro asked walking in.

Lilith stared and immediately began to laugh uncontrollably at him. "Oh. No....no..no that's funny." She'd set the firs box down and open it up revealing several stamps each one a different color. "We're getting out society marks today. What are they you ask?" She'd pull up her shirt slightly to reveal a green dragon paw tattoo on her side. "Eh? Eh ehhhhh? Good right? Right?"

Everyone would nod their heads and begin to take their stamps. Nitro would have a black one on his right shoulder, Breaker a white on his upper left arm,Eric would get a brown on on his chest,Adalina would take a dark blue one on her upper right thigh, Ember would follow Lilith's lead and get hers on her stomach expect it was red Lucy would get her mark on her left shoulder, Brooklyn's mark would be on the upper part of the center of her chest also in white, and Rex would get a red mark on the right side of his chest. Leonidas's mark....is best not talked about.

Everyone would nod in approval staring at their marks before Lilith spoke. "Nice right? Anyway." She'd set the second box down. "This is for you three." She'd gesture to Leonidas Nitro and Eric. She'd open the box and in it was Fang, Juan, and King.

The trio would quickly claim their pets beginning to pet them.

"Yeah the council finally gave them back." Lilith answered tossing the box away.

"Yeah after they took them as evidence." Eric said watching Juan fly around the room.

Nitro would nod as king began to climb up his body to his head.

"Whatever. Oh right one more thing. Leonidas this is for you." She'd hand him a piece of paper which said:

To any and all Dotato's willing to help,
Please come to my city I need help. Someone or rather something has been terrorizing my city. Anyone who was able to see it and lived said they saw scales of a light purple color. Please help I'll pay you with 10,000 Crown. Please come to Starlight City.

Leonidas slowly set down the paper and nodded at Lilith. "I understand." Without any other words he'd set down the paper along with Fang and walk out the door on his way to Starlight City.

Nitro walked forward and skimmed over the paper a look of dread slowly forming on his face. "I have a bad feeling about this job. I just feel like something will happen to Leonidas."

Lucy would grab Nitro's shoulder. "I know Leonidas has been your friend
for a long time Nitro but don't put so much doubt on him. I think he'll be fine." She'd begin to smile.

Lilith would walk off with Rex to a private room closing the door and making sure no one was around.

"You know what this means right? That what happened all those years ago wasn't successful if we have a request like that."

"And?" Rex stared down at Lilith crossing his arms. "Are you scared Leonidas will end up a threat?"

Lilith would go silent at the question looking at the ground as if Rex knew the answer.

Rex would walk forward putting his hand on too of Lilith's head. "The kid will be fine and if he does become a threat." His other hand would become surrounded in flames. "I'll finally get my chance to fight one of them." He'd walk out the door.

Meanwhile Leonidas continued to travel before he'd finally arrive in Starlight City. Starlight City used to be one of the most vibrant and colorful city with all the lights as the name implies. However today is was dead silent. None of the citizens were out on the streets and every building was on lock down.

A man about 6 feet walked out of an alley several light purple scales across his left arm as he'd stop standing several feet from Leonidas who was frozen in shock.

"So you did come." The man spoke.
"We could've meet earlier but Sander thought he could kill you but I heard he lost. So how are you little brother?" He asked.

Leonidas was still frozen with shock until he finally managed to speak. "Atreus.....what are you doing?"
