Chapter 4: Explosive Battle. Lucy vs Ember

A week has passed since Lilith and Rex declared war with each other giving time for each side to prepare. When it was time both societies met in an arena Spector had set up for the first battle. It was just a plain grey room with a stage in the middle for the opponents.

"Are you ready Lilith?" Rex said with a smirk the rest of his team behind him. A tall woman with raven colored hair, a man with silver hair, a woman with black hair, and finally a man with brown hair.

"Of course I am." Lilith said crossing her arms as all the Griffe members stood behind her. "Griffe is no joke."

"Ahahaha!" Rex would laugh slightly before beginning to speak again. "Alright then. Enough talk lets actually begin. Ember. You're first." He'd say as the raven haired woman would step forward onto the stage.

"Hmm. Lets see-" Before Lilith could finish her sentence Lucy had ran forward.

If I can show Leonidas I'm strong he'll begin to fall for me! "I'll go first." The woman would speak holding up her ring.

Rex would begin to smirk. "Alright. There will be no time limit for the battle. The battle ends when one of them can no longer fight or falls out of the ring. Ready? Begin."

The moment Rex would finish his sentence Lucy activated her ring and sprung forward slamming a pawed fist into Embers stomach. "I may not be a pureblood but don't underestimate humans."

Ember would cough out surprised by the sudden attack before she'd lightly tap Lucy's shoulder causing her to leap back in confusion. "That actually hurt quite a bit." She'd rub her stomach. "But so will this." She'd clench her fist as the mark on Lucy's shoulder would cause an explosion.

"Agh!" Lucy's scream would be heard as a cloud of smoke would begin to form. She'd sprint out of the smoke slamming her foot into Embers side causing her to slide back. "Alright then. I can't let you touch me if that's the case." She'd leap forward beginning to throw a barrage of punches.

"It seems Lucy is more durable in that form if she can fight like that." Nitro stared in amazement.

"Yes, but will it be enough? That skill seems very deadly." Lilith said glancing to Nitro.

As Lucy continued to remain on the offensive Ember was managing to barely keep up with her dodging her attacks and poking her whenever she got the chance. "You'll have to do better than that kitty." She smirked as more explosions occurred on Lucy. "Hm."

Lucy would be seen dropping down from the sky slamming her foot into Embers face before slamming a fist into the top of her head knocking her down. "I'm not going down so easily." She'd lift up Ember smirking before slamming a fist into her chin knocking her into the sky. "I'm gonna finish this!" Lucy would suddenly return to her normal form. "Eh?! W-what? I'm out of time!"

As Ember would fly up into the sky she'd snap her fingers causing an explosion to form under Lucy. "What's wrong kitty?! Out of tricks?!" She'd lunge forward grabbing Lucy's arm before letting go another explosion occurring.

Leonidas would step forward before being stopped by Lilith. "I'm sorry but we can't interfere."

"But she's going to be killed!" Leonidas would yell struggling to move forward.

All the group could do was watch in horror as Ember would continue to toy with Lucy knocking her back into the arena each time she nearly fell out. "Okay. I'm bored now." Ember would toss Lucy towards the Griffe members. "Spector wins."

Rex and the Spector members would simply laugh loudly each one giving a
cocky smirk at the other team.

Lilith would lift up Lucy as the other Griffe members would all give Spector a death glare. Each one having a look of pure rage on their face. Leonidas, Nitro and Eric would all speak in sync. "Spector will pay."
