Chapter 38:Family Reunion

The man now known as Atreus began to laugh wildly at his brother's reaction. "Yes my boy! It's me! I'm surprised you recognized me!"

Leonidas walked forward staring. "What happened to you?"

Atreus shook his head in disapproval. "I now have the family power! Don't you see!?" He held up both his arms to reveal purple scales on each arm as he stared at Leonidas. A look of pure bloodlust in his eyes. "And now I'm so close to reaching a new level of power!"

Leonidas would begin to growl. "Atreus  what happened? I thought you were leaving after what happened."

Atreus sighed. "Foolish brother. Don't you understand the magnitude of how much power I have!?"

"Snap out of it!" Leonidas yelled  at his older brother.

"Snap out of what!?" Atreus replied. "It doesn't matter what you think because of this power I-" Atreus stopped in the middle of his sentence as his head tilted back.

Leonidas out of a fit of rage had slammed his fist into his brother's chin. "If you don't listen I'll beat it out of you."

Atreus began to growl slowly looking down at Leonidas. "Fine."

Both brothers had decided to remove their shirts and toss them to the side revealing the same wing tattoos on both of their backs. Each of their hardening ability activating for each of them.

Atreus stepped forward throwing a punch at his brother.

Leonidas held up his arms in an X position to block the punch which he did successfully. However, the immense strength of his brother was enough to force him to slide back.

Leonidas quickly got his balance back only to see his brother tower over him and begin to throw a relentless barrage of attacks. "I just realized if I kill you and drink your blood...THEN I'LL BECOME EVEN STRONGER THAN I ALREADY AM!" He'd let out a scream of excitement continuing his attacks.

Leonidas quickly leapt back trying to have a moment to attack. It's obvious I can't over power him. He thought to himself watching his brother run forward towards him again. But in his current mental state I can still win. Leonidas watched his brother run forward only to leap to the side watching him fly past him. He'd turn around slamming his left arm into his back causing his brother to actually stumble forward.

Atreus turned around in shock that he was actually hit. He'd slam his fist downward causing the ground beneath him to shatter.

Leonidas had stepped back before leaping up slamming his knee into Atreu's chin before he'd drop landing on both feet before slamming his hand into his face causing him to slide into a building.

Atreus stood up letting out a loud scream a red aura surrounding him again before he'd run forward.

Leonidas would leap to the side again only this time Atreus grabbed him. "The same trick won't work twice!" He'd slam his fist into Leonidas sending him off into a building.

Leonidas stood up dusting himself off as he looked around. "Hm." He'd turn his head to the side only to be punched in the stomach by Atreus again.

"I will admit you had me at first with those tricks." He'd hold Leonidas up by his neck. "But tricks don't win fights." He'd suddenly drop Leonidas as he was kicked in the chin stumbling back,

Leonidas coughed landing on ground before being knocked away by Atreus who was rubbing his. He'd leap into the air and drop down above Leonidas.

Leonidas looked up and quickly rolled away watching as Atreus landed smashing the ground beneath him. He'd get up and rush forward slamming his shoulder into Atreus's chest.

Atreus would grab Leonidas by his arm and slamming his elbow into his face sending him back.

As Leonidas recovered Atreus ran towards him. At the same time both brothers would throw a punch with their left hands slamming into each other. Due to the massive strength of his older brother Leonidas was over powered being sent back.

He'd quickly regain his balance watching Atreus run towards him again     beginning to swing at him. Leonidas would immediately begin to attempt to block and dodge the onslaught of attacks.

Atreus would continue to attack wildly. "Just die already!" He'd slam his fist into Leonidas's stomach before slamming his elbow into his back.

Leonidas would cough out grabbing his stomach and looking up at Atreus growling.

Atreus would slam his foot into Leonidas's chest sending him into the air and having him crash a few feet away. He'd immediately begin to run forward again laughing loudly.

Leonidas would throw his clawed hand in a jab forward causing Atreus to suddenly stop. He'd cough out blood and slowly look down to see that Leonidas's hand had gone completely through him.

Leonidas had panted heavily pulling his hand out of Atreu's now limp body causing him to fall back onto the ground. Leonidas's hair would begin to change to a white color that would fade into purple as it got to the tips of his hair. His scales changing into purple and his claws changing into a golden color. He'd look down at Atreus letting out a sigh as he changed back to normal. ".......I'm sorry brother."
