Chapter 80

The next day after everyone spent their day relaxing the first fight of tournament would take place.

The announcer would begin to speak into the microphone. "Ahem. Will Nitro and Akari report to the arena within ten minutes for your match." 

Nitro would look around at everyone. "Well guess it's my time."

Brooklyn would nod. "Don't lose round one."

Lilith would nod. "Yeah. I need to make as much as I can from one of you winning."

Nitro would pause. "....I'll just assume that means good luck." He'd walk off.

Nitro and Akari would stand on opposite sides of the arena staring at each other.

The announcer would begin to speak. "There are just a few simple rules. No killing obviously, if your opponent can no longer fight you will win, and if both of you can't fight anymore the winner will be decided later. Anyway begin!" He'd yell loudly.

Akari would raise her hands into the air. "It's a bit unlucky I was your opponent." As she spoke a black cloud of aura formed above her. "It's always embarrassing to lose your first match." 

As she spoke a loud screeching sound would fill the arena.

People in the crowd along with the rest of the Twelve Miracles would stare in confusion.

In the black cloud of aura several red dots would appear.

"What the hell?" Nitro would notice all the red dots point in his direction. "What are those?" 

"This is my ability. I can create these to help me fight." Akari would respond as she pointed her hand towards Nitro.

The cloud of unknown creatures would begin to screech loudly and fly towards Nitro.

Nitro would surround his hands in aura as he fired a large ray of shadows at the creatures. 

A large explosion would happen as the large cloud became significantly smaller and Akari began to frown.

Akari would watch the swarm of creates fly away from Nitro. "Oh you may actually have a chance." She'd begin to create more.

As she began to focus on using her ability Nitro would sprint forward. "If you create these then obviously you aren't good in close combat." He'd swing slamming his foot into her side.

Akari would slide to the side grabbing her side as she regained her balance she turned to see Nitro thrusting his palm forward creating a large blast that would knock her back int a wall.

Akari would fly back and slam into the ground quickly rolling back onto her feet.

As Nitro ran forward to her Akari would smirk. "You can't focus on only me." The swarm would fly to Nitro from behind and slam into his back lifting him up into the air.

Nitro would growl in pain as he began to feel a sharp pain in his back and arms as the creates bit down onto him.

Akari would dust herself off as she raised and lowered her hand. The swarm of creatures would turn and slam Nitro into the ground creating several cracks as Nitro coughed out in pain.

Akari would yawn. "This was entertaining at first." She'd say as the swarm of creatures would begin to fly into the sky. "But it looks like I win." The swarm would fly down.

Nitro would raise his hand firing off a large ray off his aura directly into the swarm. As the ray hit the creatures they exploded the swarm being completely destroyed.

Akari would stare in shock. "Dammit." She'd hold up her hand beginning to create more of the creatures Nitro became surrounded in his aura. He'd leap up and vanish.
