Chpater 55

Nitro would begin to fly around as vines would chase him and Ember around.

Ember would hold out her hands creating several explosions. "Alright...I think I blew them up."

Nitro would sigh looking back as he saw several more vines shoot out the smoke.

"Oh come on!" He and Ember would yell in sync as the vines would wrap around and drag them to the ground.

The woman would smirk as the vines would bring the two towards her. "I will admit you two were a bit hard to catch. But now you're all mine." She'd smirk moving closer to Ember.

Ember would open up her mouth causing an explosion in the woman's face a large black smoke cloud appeared.

Nitro and Ember would drop down as vines released them. Ember began to cough out puffs of smoke. "Ugh."

Nitro would grab Ember and begin to fly off again. "I can't get close to actually attack her and the same attack won't work twice."

Ember would cough out the last bit of smoke. "I hate doing that."

Nitro would begin to fly in a zig zag motion glancing to the side as a vine flew towards them. Nitro would move to the right as another vine flew towards him slashing across his chest.
"Dammit!" He'd growl.

Ember would aim her hands creating several more explosions. After she destroyed a vine several needles would fly towards her beginning to cut her.

Nitro would aim one of his hands firing a beam of aura at the woman creating an explosion. "Oh I got an idea." More shadows would begin to shoot out of feet as he'd fly faster beginning to fly into the air. The shadows would stop as he and Ember would begin to free fall downwards.

"Oh. I think I get it."  Ember would point her hands backwards creating an explosion having the two drop down faster.

The woman would point her hand forward several vines flying forward towards the two.

Nitro and Ember would aim one of their hands forward. Nitro becoming surrounded in a black aura an Ember becoming coated in her red aura. The two auras would begin to move to their hands and combine before being fired off as a beam destroying the vines and hitting the woman. When it connected a pillar of black and red aura was formed.

Nitro and Ember would land and sigh.

"Good job." Nitro would look at Ember. "Wait how come when you did that mouth explosion you didn't finish her off?"

"Oh well I was scared I'd do too much damage to her." She'd respond nodding. "I didn't want to cause unnecessary harm."

"Hm. Alright." Nitro would shrug beginning to walk. "Lets find the others."

Brooklyn would stand panting heavily having been separated from Lucy by the woman who also seemed a bit tired.

The woman would get herself into a ready stance before smiling widely. She'd suddenly appear behind Brooklyn and slash at her.

Brooklyn would spin around blocking the slash and sliding back slightly before raising her knee. Before she could make contact the woman would vanish again. "Her ability makes it hard to land a hit." Brooklyn would think out loud suddenly ducking down as the woman appeared behind her again and slashed.

The woman would stand face to face with Brooklyn when she stood back up. "I'm surprised. Most people can't keep up once I've raised my speed this far."

Brooklyn would nod. "I can tell why. That ability can be very useful. You could increase your speed past the point people can react fast enough to defend themselves." Brooklyn would dash forward swinging her pole.

The woman would raise her sword blocking.

"But you never considered one thing." Brooklyn would have a smirk on her face throwing a kick that the woman easily avoided. "I'm holding back."

The woman would begin to laugh. "Oh? Is this some attempt to scare me? Well it won't work girl." She'd raise her sword as a brown aura surrounded her. "I'll end you right now."

"Lucy. Catch." Brooklyn would remove one of her bracelets and toss it to her. "I only need a little more of my full power." Brooklyn would become surrounded in a white aura.

Lucy would nod silently as she  caught the bracelet.

The woman would begin to rapidly vanish and appear around the room randomly. Brooklyn would remain perfectly still not even looking around to try and follow her movements. The woman would appear in front of Brooklyn raising her sword. "Die-" She'd suddenly fly back slamming into the wall.

Lucy would watch on shock. "What just happened?"

The woman would clench her stomach coughing out a small bit of blood. "She hit me faster than I could see." She'd begin to growl. "It was just a lucky shot." She'd vanish and reappear behind Brooklyn running towards her.

"Nope." Brooklyn would vanish and appear behind the woman. "I was holding back."

The woman and Lucy would look around the room in trying to follow Brooklyn's movements.

Brooklyn would appear in the air above the woman spinning as she swung her pole downwards slamming it into her back causing her to crash into the floor cracking it and causing a pillar of aura to shoot out into the air as the woman slammed through floors of the building.

Lucy would stare in amazement as she began to think. People like Brooklyn are amazing being able to take control of a situation like this easily. She didn't even need me...I know what I have to do now. Lucy would walk towards Brooklyn handing her the bracelet. "Brooklyn."

"Yes Lucy?" Brooklyn responded putting her pole onto her back and putting her bracelet back on.

"I want you to train me to be as strong as you." Lucy would answer.

"Sure." Brooklyn shrugged. "You can train with me."

Everyone would look in the direction of the pillar of aura. "Oh there." They'd begin to make their way towards it.
