The next day Leonidas and Taiga walked through the snowstorm looking around for the creature.
"Uhh...so how exactly do we find this thing?" Taiga yawned while rubbing her eyes.
Leonidas went silent. "...I have no idea. We'll find it soon though." He'd kneel down and put his hand in the snow. "We just have to find it." He'd close his eyes as he felt something moving through the snow. "It's here." He'd turn back to look at Taiga. "See? We just have to follow it's aura."
While Leonidas was looking at Taiga a large whits scaled creature slowly rose from the snow. It looked down at Leonidas and began to open up it's mouth.
"Anyway-" Leonidas went silent and turned around to see the massive creature looking down at him. "....." He'd simply take a deep breath as the creature lunged down at him.
Leonidas jumped to the side watching the creature slam into the snow and bury itself back under. "Ok so-" Leonidas turned and watched Taiga turn her arms into wings and fly into the air.
"You got this!" She'd yell loudly. "It's coming from the left by the way!"
Leonidas turned left and watch the creature jump out the snow. It opened it's mouth as it neared Leonidas and attempted to swallow him hole.
Leonidas held out his arms and grabbed the serpent by it's two fangs and began to slide back dragging his feet through the snow. After sliding about 30 feet Leonidas began to pull tightly. After pulling he snapped both of the Serpents fangs in half causing it to let out a loud screech of pain.
Leonidas stepped back and looked at the fangs noticing their was a green liquid. "Oh? Venom? Interesting."
Taia began to cheer while in the air. "Woo! Good job Leo!"
Leonidas stared at the fangs then looked at the serpent. "I got it!" Leonidas raised the fangs into the air and jabbed them into the serpents
eyesThe serpent let out a another screen as it was stabbed in the eyes. The screeching slowly stopped as the serpent went limp. Taiga landed next to Leonidas.
"Good job Leo." Taiga began to pat his back. "Now we just have to bring it back."
Back at Ray's island Brooklyn and Nitro sat on the shore enjoying their day off.
Nitro began to stretch slightly as he looked up at he sky. "Relaxing like this is kind of nice."
"Mhm." Brooklyn nodded still slightly shaken up from the vision Ray showed her.
Nitro glanced towards her. "Brooklyn are you ok? You've been weird lately."
Brooklyn nodded hesitantly before shaking her head. "No. Do you remember our mental training with Ray?"
"Yeah." Nitro nodded. "It was a bit difficult but I was able to power through though." Nitro clenched his fist tightly. "He showed me some uh...unpleasant stuff."
Brooklyn put her hand on top of Nitro's while beginning to smile slightly. "I thought it was just me for a second. I'd panic if I started losing to you after all."
"Hey!" Nitro began to smirk. "You haven't even beaten me."
"I actually have." Brooklyn began to think. "You remember our fight at the tournament of the miracles?"
Nitro paused for a second. "That doesn't even count! You barely won!"
"A win is a win." Brooklyn continued to smirk. "Maybe one day you'll be strong enough to challenge me again."
"What do you mean one day?!" Nitro shouted slightly. "I can challenge you right now! Anyway why did you bring up the mental training?"
Brooklyn went silent and shook her head before smiling. "Nothing. I just wanted to know."
Ray stood in the distance behind a tree listening to the conversation. "...Eh. I was gonna make them train but it's their day off they can relax." He'd walk off from the two.
