Chapter 4: Thunderstorm

On my way to my house i stopped by the property like the guys asked me to. As I pull into the drive way I look at the huge house. "OMG! this place is huge!" I say to myself. Sidney walks out of the house to greet me. "Your here!" he says as I roll down the window. "Why don't you pull into the garadge. Just to keep your car safe."

"Ok. Is there room?" I ask.

"Ya, its really only you me Max and James right now."

"Ok, i will meet you in the house." I say as i pull my car right next to Sid's. I close the garadge door, lock my car and head into the house. "Hey guys!" I say as i walk into the kitchen where the three are standing.

"Hey!" Max says

"You made it!" James says.

"Ya, I told you I would stop by. Is anyone else coming?" I ask.

"No. Its only us tonight." Max explains. I nod and walk into the living room. Max follows me. "This is where we spend most of our time." He pulls me into the media room. "This is our media room." I look at the huge room. It has everything. A 90" flat screen Tv, a air hockey table, a ping pong table, a pool table and much much more.

"Wow! You guys have everything!" I say as I walk back into the kitchen.

"There is more to the house but it would take 2 hours to show the entire house to you." Sid explains.

"The house is that big?"

"Ya. We live here most of the time."

"Wow. That's So cool. It must be fun."

"It is. Maybe you could stay one day." Sidney asks as he smiles.

"Looks like Kate has to stay tonight." James says as he points to the Tv screen.

TV weather man: "There is a sever thunderstorm warning in effect un till 7am. Stay off the road and stay in the house tonight. This storm is capable of producing hail, and extremely strong winds and a slight chance that it can produce a tornado. Stay safe and report any damages to the Weather Channel."

"Seems like I am staying here tonight." I say as i turn away from the Tv screen.

"Really?" Sidney asks.

"Yep! I don't want to get stuck in the storm." I say as I sit down on the couch. "Now what?" Just than a huge clap of thunder scares the crap out of me and I jump. I love thunderstorms but sometimes the thunder scares me when I am not paying attention, like it did just now.

"Haha, you ok?" Sid asks as he sits down next to me. He puts his arm around me and I feel so much better when I am next to him.

"Ya, I'm fine. It just got me by susprise. That's all." I say as I move closer to him. Max and James sit on the love seat across from Sid and I. We turn on the Tv and watch the Voice. I love the Voice. Its my favorite show. "Hey, do you guys want to watch a really funny movie?" I ask.

"Sure" they say at the same time.

"Ok let me run out to my car and get it." I say "Be right back." I get up and walk to my car. I grab Pitch Perfect and head back into the house.

"What movie is it?" Max asks.

"Pitch Perfect. Its my favorite movie." I say. "Its really funny, you guys will love it!" I throw the case with the DVD to Max. He takes out the DVD and puts it in the player. I sit back down, right next to Sidney and he puts his arm back around me.

Five minteus into the movie we are all laughing. "This is the best movie ever!" Max says.

"I told you it was really funny." After the movies is over Max takes out the DVD and puts it back into the case. He hands it back to me. "Keep it, show it to the rest of the team."

"You sure?" Max asks.

"Ya, I have 2 more copies." I say and Max puts it next to the tv. "I'll be right back." I say as I get up and walk to the media room. Sidney follows me. At first I didn't know he was following me un till he came up behind me and put his arms around me. He closes the door behind us. I turn around and look at him. "I have something to tell you." I say.

"So do I." he says "You first."

"I love you. I loved you from the first time I met you." I say.

"Well that's the thing." he says. "I love you too."

"Really?" I ask. Just as I say that he leans in and I do the same. I close my eyes and our lips touch. We kiss. It was the best kiss I ever had. The kiss was long and sweet. He pulls away hoping for me to kiss back and I do. About three minutes later I pull away. "That was amazing." I say.

"It was. I love you so much babe." he says.

"I love you too!" I say.

"What are you doing this Friday?" Sid asks.

"Nothing."

"Do you want to go out? Is 7:30 fine?"

"Ya, that's perfect!." I say as I hug him.

"I can't wait!" I say. We walk back to the living room where Max and James were looking at us. "Should we tell the we are going out?" I whisper to Sid.

"No. Not yet." We sit back down, than out of no where the power goes out. The wind picks up, and it starts raining really hard. What is in store for us? I move closer to Sid. "Don't worry. Your safe with me." Than my phone rings. Its a text. Tornado watch in effect until 12:00am. I tell the guys what the text said.

"Maybe we should camp out in the basement tonight. Just to be safe." James says.

"That's a good idea." I say as I pull Sid off the couch and down to the basement. Max and James follow. There is four couches that are all pull outs. I pull mine out and the guys do the same. Sid comes over just as I lay down.

"Good night babe." he says.

"Good night." I say as I kiss him on the cheek. He walk back to the pull out.
