By the way, we lost to Adamson in our game in Bacolod but we finished as 1st runner up.
In that stay in Bacolod, mas naging close yung team sa isa't isa and mas naging close kami ni Aly.
He made sure kasi na mapapanood niya lahat ng games namin whether we lose or win, he was always there to support us tapos we hang out. He's always there to compliment me for a job well done. Nagbibigay din siya ng opinions on how I should handle the crowd and the pressure. He's just there, all the time.
Para na din namin siyang tour guide kasi kung saan saan niya kami dinadala 'pag may free time.
And since basketball season na, It's my time to support Aly. That's why every game nila, we make sure na mapapanood namin. My family din watches the game, close na nga sila ng family ni Aly eh. Minsan our families would go out and eat and stuff.
For almost 8 months of knowing Aly, we've been closer and mas nagkakagusto ako sa kanya. He's proven himself worthy of my trust and respect and he's really sweet and caring lalo na sa 'kin. Grabe siya mag-alaga sa 'kin kasi sobrang nag-eeffort talaga siyang ihatid-sundo ako and samahan ako kahit saan ko mapagtripan pumunta.
Tinatanong na nga din ako ng team if may something na samin kasi we're always going out pero sabi ko wala pa naman and we're enjoying each others company lang. Siguro nasa MU stage na kami na we know that we like each other but we want to take things one step at a time.
And within that 8-month period, mas nakikilala na ng tao si Aly. Ang galing niya talaga kasi maglaro. He's been one of the rumored leading candidates for rookie of the year together with Kiefer.
Actually, nakakatawa siya kasi every time na aalis kaming dalawa and may magpapa-picture sa kanya, hiyang hiya siya tapos ako yung pinupush niya tapos sasabihin niya na abangan nila ako sa volleyball kasi magaling daw ako.
Hindi talaga kasi siya sanay sa attention kahit sobrang exemplary ng ginagawa niya on court.
He's super down to earth and humble. He never brags about his achievement kahit na over-achiever siya. Walang kayabang yabang sa katawan kahit competitive siya.
Lahat ng fans ina-accommodate niya. You wouldn't even know na he's tired from training kasi super energetic niya lang. He's like this ball of energy and happiness na sobrang infectious. Naalala ko nga one time nung lumabas kami tapos may nagpapicture sa kanya na girl tapos nagpa-sign ng phone. Siya mismo yung nagpicture tapos kinulit niya pa yung fan.
FLASHBACK
"VALDEZ! VALDEZ papicture po" sigaw nung fan kay Aly habang tumatakbo nung makalabas kami ng restaurant.
Nag-crave kasi kami pareho ng Japanese food so we ate sa Japanese restaurant sa may Eastwood.
Napakamot naman siya sa ginawa nung fan and halatang nahihiya siya. We stopped walking and waited for the fan na makarating sa place naming.
Aly: Boo, nakakhiya hinabol niya pa talaga tayo.
Ako: Ano yung nakakahiya yung ginawa niyang paghabol or yung pagpapapicture niya sayo?
