I still can't over what Tito Mike said. It's been like 2 weeks since that encounter but still I can't get it out of my head. 2 weeks na para akong out of place palagi.
'ALVIN! FOCUS!'
I heard Coach Norman shouted.
I nodded then continue on with the play.
Kiefer: Mamaya mo na kasi siya isipin!
Kiefer teased. Napailing na lang ako sa sinabi niya and just focused on the training.
After an hour and a half, natapos na yung training and we were all lectured about our mistakes and the skills we need to improve on.
Pagkatapos nun, pumunta na kami sa locker room para mag shower and to get ready for our classes. Nakakainis na kasi hindi ko talaga mabigay yung A-game ko sa practice and sa kahit anong bagay kasi nagre-replay sa utak ko yung talk naming ni Tito Mike.
Von: Bro, I just noticed. You've been aloof lately. May problem ka ba?
Kiefer: Yan nasobrahan ka na sa Vitamin Dennise. Ano ipaparehab ka na ba namin?
Ako: Tigilan mo ako Kief ah. Kanina ka pa sa training eh. But seriously though, wala akong problema. It's just that something's been bothering me.
Kiefer: Talk.
Kapag one word na lang sinasabi ni Kief , it only means na you can't do anything but to follow him. He's like that kasi as a captain.
With that, I told them about the talk with Tito Mike. How i felt a bit pressured and all.
Natahimik naman sila pareho after as if weighing things and thinking of what to say before actually saying it.
Kiefer: Honestly Bro, I think, eto opinion ko lang ah. Base sa kwento mo, Den's dad likes you for his daughter. he gave you his word na nga eh but the question is, do you like Dennise enough to be fully committed to her?
That question caught me off-guard.
Napaisip ako sa sinabi ni Kiefer.
Am I ready to be committed? I mean, I like Dennise and all, no, I love Dennise pero at the same time I don't know if my love for her is enough to make a relationship work. Ayoko nga kasing madaliin lahat pero parang na-pressure talaga ako sa sinabi ni Tito Mike.
Von: Let's put it this way na lang. Alvin, does Dennise make you happy?
Ako: Yes, super.
I replied agad agad.
Von: Are you in love with Dennise?
Ako: Yes.
Von: Why?
Why?
Ako: Kailangan ba ng reason kung bakit ko siya mahal. Kasi wala akong maisip eh. I simply love her. I love every bit of her. I love being with her. I love that I get to see her smile. I love the feeling of being in love when I'm with her. I'm willing to sacrifice things for her because I love her. It's the first time I've felt this way, you both know that. But one thing's for sure, I love her.
They exchanged meaningful looks after what I said and they smiled at me ng nakakaloko.

Answer to what? Naguluhan ako sa sinabi nila. Yung tipong nag-buffer ng ilang seconds.
Then I got it.
I am inlove with Dennise and I guess I'm ready to take our relationship to another level.
I got my phone and looked at my wallpaper which is a picture of me and Dennise wearing our wacky faces habang nakayakap yung kamay ko sa leeg niya and yung isa sa tiyan niya. Napapangiti ako nun lagi.
Damn! I'm so luck to have this girl so close to me. I love her and sana she feels the same way.
I have to make her feel that I love her atleast love her more than just a bestfriend.
How?
I looked at Kief and Von with my i-need-help look and i-want-to-get-out-of-the-friendzone look which they got naman and they simply nod.
Dennise Michelle, be ready to get hit with the Valdez syndrome.
