I said while playing with Happy. Namiss ko din talaga kasi siya. I'm here right now at our house waiting for my cousin and Kiefer's text para sa plans for the Fastbreak. We had an oath kasi na every December, we'll organize an event that'll help other people.
Ako: Happy, picture tayo, bilis. Then let's post it for mommy to see.
Hinawakan ko siya and hugged him close to me then took a selfie. Satisfied with our picture, I posted it on my Instagram account.

Napatawa ko sa cheesiness ng caption ko. Being together for almost half a year or so, the feeling's still surreal. I still can't grasp the thought properly that Den and I are together and that we're so in love with each other.
From bestfriends to more than that huh? Buti talaga hindi ako na-friendzone, masakit yun eh hahah.
After ilang seconds pagkatapos ko i-post yung picture naming ni Happy, non-stop na yung pag-buzz ng cellphone ko from the notifications that the picture is getting. Madaming nag-comment and like ng picture namin.

Because of our conversation, napuno pa lalo ng comments yung picture namin. But one comment made me laugh out loud.

I stood up, carried Happy and opened the gate only to see my cousin facing her back on me while busy doing things on her phone.
Ako: Ehem! Someone's busy.
She looked at me with her wide eyes and launched herself to me. She hugged me so tight and kissed my cheek.
Laura: I missed you, baby.
Ako: I missed you too, Lau. Tara na sa loob so that you can rest already.
Laura: Sure! Wait. I want to carry him.
She said looking at Happy while pouting. Napailing na lang ako and gave Happy to her. To my surprise, they became comfortable with each other agad.
Usually kasi, Happy's not too friendly with other people. He has the tendency to whimper and get mad kapag may ibang tao. Sa amin lang ni Den yan lumalapit ng matagal and nagpapalambing but right now, he looks peaceful with Lau.
Ako: Wow, first time.
Laura: Huh? What did you say?
Ako: I said it's the first time. First time that Happy looks relaxed with other people.
Laura: Awww, that's cute. Maybe he likes me too. Don't worry, Happy, I'll visit you everyday.
Ako: Yeah like everyday, cause you're gonna stay here until you find a condo and you're transfer papers are processed. Yay!
I said sarcastically which earned a death glare from the favorite cousin.
She's the same age as mine but I'm older by 5 months. She's a model and she joined the Binibining Pilipinas pageant before going back to the States again to finish her school. She's also like Den, a science geek and a doctor in the making.
Not everyone knows that we're cousins even Kiefer and Von, we just chose to not tell them and besides they're not asking naman. She's really pretty and maraming nagkakagusto talaga sa kanya kaya before isa rin ako sa "boyfriend"kuno niya to get away from rude guys.
Super attractive lang talaga kasi nitong pinsan kong to and she's really cool. Yung tipong wala sa itsura kasi super girly but she can be one of the boys.
She likes playing games sa PS4 or Xbox. Simple lang din siya, light make up and very decent, dalagang Pilipina.
But one thing she's really not good at is, talking in Filipino. Pareho kami before na hindi makapag-construct ng Filipino sentence ng maayos but I'm getting better at it na.
Medyo slang pa din and I still can't understand some words but definitely better than her and than before.
Laura: You're still such a hater, Oyens. I hate you.
She said then left me standing sa labas ng gate with her bags. Napatawa naman ako ng mahina with how she acted.
Still the same old Laura. Pikon pa din siya.
I got her bags and carried them inside where to my surprise, I found her sleeping on the sofa with Happy by her side, sleeping as well. I found them cute kaya naman pinicturan ko sila.
Afterwards, I took off her shoes, carefully to not wake her up. As for Happy, I just let him sleep with her. I knelt to reach her then kiss her forehead.
We'll have fun again, Lau. Promise.
