I thought to myself. Ganyan kasi siya magalit eh pero grabe na po yung galit niya sa'kin ngayon.
She's been ignoring me for almost a week because of that stupid picture and fuck the people who're making things worse and giving the wrong speculations about what really happened.
It was taken last Saturday, after Valentine's Day, when Kiefer and some of our friends were invited by a friend to his send off party in the Fort. It was pure fun lang and chill.
Everyone's talking with each other and socializing while I was the anti-social one who's busy texting my girlfriend kasi I still have a hang over from our Valentine's date.
She surprised me kasi with a dinner for two na siya yung nagluto ng lahat ng pagkain. She even baked a cake. Sobrang natuwa ako dun kasi first time niya akong pinagluto ng full meal. Madalas kasi sandwiches lang and fried food.
Ang nakakatawa pa dun is ako din pinagluto ko siya na first time kong ginawa sa buong buhay ko.
I tried to cook her favorite pasta kahit medyo fail yung lasa, pero sabi niya masarap naman daw yun for a first timer. Pero in all honesty, kulang sa seasoning yung gawa ko and medyo dry. Nahiya ako sa niluto niya.
Her exact words after tasting my dish were,
"It's good for a first timer, medyo kulang lang sa lasa and onting practice pa but edible naman so thank you."
Ganun kami ka-honest sa isa't isa. Hindi kami natatakot sabihin sa isa't isa if may pangit na nagagawa yung isa sa'min or what, we accept each other's criticisms maturely para mas mag-improve.
Tapos first Valnetine's day as a couple, before kasi friendly date lang yun.
When we're about to leave a girl tripped in front of me and buti na lang nasalo ko siya kasi lasing na talaga siya. She apologized naman agad and bid farewell.
Then the next thing I knew was my accounts were bombarded with notifications and comments about me and a girl kissing daw. Ayun nga pagkakita ko, may picture namin nung girl na tinulungan ko and nakaakap ako sa kanya kasi nga tinutulungan ko siyang tumayo.
To make things worse, the caption goes something like this:
"Playmaker=Playboy. Di ba sila pa ni @denniselazaro?"
Ang galing di ba? Tinag pa talaga si Dennise. Tapos ang dami nang gumawa ng kwentong walang kwenta.
I called Den agad to explain my side but she's declining the call every damn time so I concluded that she already saw the picture and assumed that I've done something wrong.
For days nagpaliwanag lang ako ng nagpaliwanag sa kanya, sa family ko, sa family niya and sa lahat ng friends namin. Tinulungan din ako ni Kief at mga kasama namin na mag-explain because they're beside me that time and they know what really happened.
My parents and her parents understood my explanation kahit na medyo may pagsapak muna from my dad and Tito Mike and sampal from our mothers kasi nagulat sila sa issue. Pero nag-sorry din sila for being OA.
Yung ALE, nagalit din sa'kin, kahit sila Coach Roger but after hearing me out, wala silang nasabi but naging awkward na lang lahat. Tapos after a while naging okay na din naman.
