HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!
We all shouted when the clock strike 12. Grabe, best holiday ever, not only because we're complete and Den's family is celebrating with us.
"Happy New Year, Baldo!"
She said smiling at me sweetly while hugging me from the side.
Ako: Happy New Year, Pakoy!
She gave me "the glare" after my greeting and pouted which I found really cute so I gave her a smack and in return she pinched my nose and messed my hair up.
Such a sweet little monster I got here huh?
Make it last forever and never give it back. It's our turn and I'm loving where we're at.
Because this moment's really all we have.
New Year means new chapter of our lives and new chapters would mean new nicknames/ bully names.
The introduction totally doesn't have anything to do with New Year but I just had to do it to get to my main point.
We have new nicknames/ bully names for each other! Yay! Fireworks! Boom! Weee!
Baldo, came from a really close person who happens to be lecturing me about Dennise that time, Coach Roger.
He messaged me a couple of days ago telling me to be more of an inspiration than a distraction which he always reminds me to be, for Dennise to continue on playing well.
Hindi talaga kasi siya nag-aallow ng relationships sa mga girls, but me, being one of the guys he knows and trusts so much, like Tec who's the boyfriend of Ate Fille, and the other guys who are courting his girls, he just let us be, provided that we don't distract the girls such as late night dates and petty fights.
And almost everyday tinetext niya kaming mga guys to remind us na bawal ang distraction.
Anyways, his message went like this.
From: Coach Roger
Happy Holidays Baldo! Remember my reminders always and regards to your family and Den's family. Ingat kayo diyan and have fun.
Simple as that but it meant a lot to him and to me as well. Nagulat naman ako kung bakit may Baldo and kung ano yung baldo.
I was suppose to reply to him when Den sat down beside me and took a look at my phone tapos biglang tumawa ng malakas after reading the message.
Flashback
HAHAHAHAHHAAHA
Malakas na tawa ni Den na ikinataka ko pero napa-smile nalang din ako.
Den: Hahahha Baldo! Hahah yun ba tawag niya sayo? Hahah Damn, it sounds weird and funny at the same time. Good one, Coach hahah.
Ako: I can see that. You have tears in your eyes already oh.
Namumula na din siya. I wiped the tears on her cheeks before continuing.
Ako: Actually, I was also surprised that he called me that. I don't even know where he got it.
Den: Hahah wherever he got it from, it was really good. It got my eyes watering from laughing. It suits you well being moreno and having this pure Pinoy qualities. Baldo hahah

After that, she never stopped teasing me especially when she's making lambing and bullying me. It's actually one thing that people don't know about her. She can be a bully and once she's in the mood para mang-bully, talagang mapipikon ka na lang pero ang masaya dun, kapag alam niyang napipikon na ako, todo lambing na siya sa'kin na gustong gusto ko.
I may come out strong because of my athletic built but as she put it her way, I'm her gentle giant and I ought to be her gentle giant forever.
Coach Roger also explained kung bakit Baldo. Dahil daw nag-improve yung blocking ko, not only in baskteball but also in volleyball. "Balduhin mo" is I think where he got it daw.
I'm not really sure.
May one time kasi na nakilaro ako sa Men's Volleyball team eh yung training nila, before ng training ng Women's Volleyball team.
Nayaya pa nga ako ni Coach Parley na magtry-out sa volleyball, even the ALE, when they saw me playing, pinuri rin nila ako pero nahiya lang ako hehe. Hinidi naman po kasi talaga ako ganun kagaling.
Then there's Pakoy.
Hahah that incident really never fails to make me laugh.
It was Christmas that time and we decided to have a mini party. We had exchange gifts and games with Laura as the host para daw makapag-practice siya. She also came up with the games.
My siblings went home from out of the country to celebrate the holidays with us which they vowed to do every year and they never broke it.
Ganun talaga siguro kami, we were raised well, living up to what we promised and we do our best para lang matupad yung promises na binibitawan namin. That's why I promised to love Den until my last breath. Naks naman, drama haha.
Going back to Pakoy, we're giving out gifts to each other one at the time.
My parents were up first sa gift giving. They gave my brother and sister personalized watches which are samples for the watch business they're gonna put up soon.
Then they gave Tito Mike and Tita Arlene tickets for an all expense trip to Hong Kong na ikinasaya ng mga anak nila. Hindi lang yun, they gave Mosh a limited edition books, Jus, headphones na Beats by Dr. Dre, and Den, a watch as well.
And the list goes on.
When it was Tita Arlene's turn, she started with giving Tito Mike a gift. Tapos si Den naman. Every gift din pala kailangan may message ka sa pagbibigyan mo.
Flashback
Tita Arlene: I love you too,Hon.
She replied to Tito Mike na ikinakilig ng lahat ng mga tao sa rest house na pinuntahan namin dito si Baguio. Inasar naman sila ng parents ko pero nauwi lang din sa tawanan lahat. Then she got another present.
Tita Arlene: Next, for my first born. Ate, you're not a baby anymore and you've grown up to be fine lady. We want you to know that we're so proud of you. I love you Ate Pakoy.
She said na nagpatawa sa'kin.
First, because of the nickname and second is because nagreklamo pa si Den dahil sa tawag sa kanya ni Tita which I really find adorable. Den stood up got the gift then took a photo with Tita bago bumalik sa tabi ko.
Ako: Hahahah so cute Ate Pakoy.
I teased nung nakaupo na siya.
Den: Oh shut it, Baldo.
Inirapan niya pa ako kaya lalo akong natawa.

I love my Pakoy and the thought of having my Pakoy with my Pakoy, the best thing to look forward to. Magulo ba? Hahah
Oh by the way if you want to know what I got Den for Christmas, better ask her hihi.
I have to go first, gonna plan an epic birthday party pa e.
Everyday from right now gonna use our voices sing out loud. Take my hand together we'll celebrate. Everyday.
