I closed my eyes like a little kid and sat sa sidewalk with my hands on my ears.
Hindi pwede. I'm over this feeling. I don't want to go back to this.
Yan lang yung sinasabi ko sa sarili ko to somehow calm my nerves. I hate this. Tapos na 'to eh, bakit pa kasi kailangan niyang bumalik?
I took deep breaths and thought of something else to calm my nerves. Dennise. Dennise is the person that I need now. I have to be with her. My family, they have to know about this. Do they?
I'm starting to feel like I'm having panic attack. Nanginginig yung buong katawan ko.
Alvin, come on, man. Snap out of it.
I said scolding myself.
Alvin, man up. It's over. Baka namalikmata ka lang. Imposibleng nandito siya. Matagal na siyang wala. Tapos na yun. Wala lang yun.
Pilit kong inaalis yung nararamdaman ko and slowly, it did. It took me I think 10 minutes, to calm my nerves and go back to normal.
Dahan-dahan akong tumayo and nagmadaling pumunta sa dorm. Nag-shower ako agad and it took me an hour to get the feeling that I have out of my system completely. Tama, baka namalikmata lang ako kanina. Imposible kasi mangyari yung naiisip ko. Right now, I have to focus on the things in front of me. What happened in the past, stays in the past.
I looked at the time, maaga pa naman for the mass but I think Den's awake already. So, I checked my phone and read all the messages that I received. My parents wished us luck and reminded me of the things that I have to do. I'm battling on my mind if I have to tell them what happened kanina but I decided not to tell them na lang. Then I read Den's message and it did me some good. I calmed and relaxed at her text. Napangiti pa nga ulit ako eh.
