HIS...
Months passed and a lot of things happened already. Ilang weeks din kaming nagtraining sa ibang bansa to prepare for the U23 games and thankfully, we won sa competition in Japan. We joined many leagues din, para daw sa exposure since we're rookies, kami nila Kiefer.
Everyday din may training since malapit na yung UAAP and every day din I get the chance to see and be with Dennise which is really cool. Dennise and I got closer din and finally nakuha ko na yung number niya. Sobrang naging special na din sakin ni Dennise.
May mga times nga na inaasar na kami ng teammates namin because of our closeness sabi pa nila bagay daw kami, coffee and cream. The guys even teased me na type ko daw si Dennise and kami na daw. Sobrang sweet and caring daw kasi namin sa isa't isa. We're clingy monsters nga as Dennise would put it, we like to cling that's for sure.
Nagulat nga yung mga teammates namin nung nalaman nilang magkakilala kami tapos yun we told them the story of how we met. Kinilig naman yung iba tapos sabi destiny daw.
We're always together din, kasi may mga classes kami na pareho and we have the same free times tapos iisa lang yung gym na pinagttrainingan namin.
I even met Dennise's family already. It was when I watched one of their friendly games with FEU at the BEG. Nung una kinakabahan ako kasi baka isipin ng family niya na pinopormahan ko na si Dennise eh wala pa naman yun sa plano ko.
Well, Dennise is very much likeable but I don't want to jump into a relationship muna. I just want to get to know her better, but then when we talked, ang chill. They are actually cool parents, hindi masyadong strict and hidi rin masyadong maluwag. They're the right balance of hot and cold as they say.
Madalas din left out si Dennise kapag magkakausap kami nila Tito Mike parang ngayon.
Dennise: Really guys? Kayo na naman mgkakausap? Hello, parents, I'm your daughter po.
She said ng nakamake-face pa. Ang cute lang talaga.
Tito Mike: Aww, tampo naman ang panganay ko. Don't worry hindi ko naman aagawin sayo si Alvin eh.
Pang-aasar ni Tito Mike na ikinakunot ng noo ni Dennise.
Napatawa naman kami ni Tita Arlene. We were talking about business kasi.
Tito Mike is a contractor while si Tita Arlene is a finance consultant. Hindi naman ganoon kalayo yung work nila sa work ng parents ko and kilala daw nila ang mga Valdez. We have a company kasi in Makati engaged in brokerage and meron ding isa na sa telecommunications naman. Marami pang businesses yung family namin kaya growing up, my dad used to bring me to his office and teach me how to manage the business for future purposes.
Ako: Boo, wag ka nang magalit kay Tito. We were just talking po.
I said while pinching her cheeks kasi sobrang cute niya talaga.
Boo yung tawagan namin since one time during their training, she went to me showing her hand na halos maluha luha na ayun pala nasalubsob lang. She even looked like Boo from Monsters Inc. that time.
FLASHBACK
While they're in the middle of their training, Dennise sat beside me, got her towel and put it on her head and showed me her hand na naluluha na yung mata. I got worried so I asked her.
Ako: Hey Dennise, what happened?
Tinaas niya pa lalo yung daliri niya.
Ako: Anong meron diyan?
I said while examining her finger.
Dennise: I got a booboo can't you see? Bulag ka ba Aly? Masakit kaya.
