Aiden's POV

T_______T she. she.... doesn't . . . .

"hahahaha! aiden nman. d pa ako tapos. no, I didn't liked or loved you .. I LOVE YOU. present tense yun ahh.. " aish. nicole nman oh.

"so...." sabi ko.

"so?"

"so, tayo na?" sabi ko sabay hinawakan ng mahigpit ang mga kamay nya.

"what? di kpa nga nanliligaw eh." T_T oh.... yeah, right.

"ehem. nicole, will you be my girlfriend?"

"no." sabi nya na nakataas pa ang isang kilay niya at nagkibitbalikat.

"whaaaaat?" tumawa nlang sya ng tumawa.

"tsk tsk tsk. pinagtritripan mo lng ako ehh." sabi ko sabay tumayo ako at magwawalk out na sana.

"teka lng. sorry na. eh kasi, kailangan mo muna magpaalam kay dad. i like the formal way."

"ahh. syempre. i'll do anything for you."

"awww. how sweet." sabi nya. npangiti nlang ako.

"anu yung sweet??" sabi ni chloe na kapapasok lng sa room ni nicole kasama sila christian at kevin.

"nicoooole!!!" npayakap si chloe kay nicole.

"chloe, i'm... sorry." sabi ni nicole.

"shh. i know . i know. sana sinabi mo nlang samen kaagad."

"yeah, magkakaibigan nman tayo diba?" sabi nman ni kevin

"yes. friends forever. " sabi nman ni nicole.

"ATE!" npatingin nman kmi kay micha na kapapasok lng din kasama dad nya.

"are you okay anak? are you feeling well?"

"yes dad. i'm fine."

"sabi ng doctor, dhil sa depression and lack of rest."

"ahh. i'm sorry. but, i cannot really sleep lately and ........."

"and?"

"can i have my phone? i want to talk to dr. owen." sabi ni nicole.

"tell us nlang. you're trying to hide something again." sabi ni micha.

"i. don't want you to worry. it's just that, knina, nang magising ako, di na ako makapagsalita tsaka makagalaw. as in my whole body doesn't repond. did mom ?" sabi ni nicole sabay tingin nya sa dad nya.

"she didn't. we'll call dr. owen." sabi ng dad nya.

"oh, by the way dad, my friends. aiden, chloe, christian and kevin."

"i've met these 2 haven't i?"

"yes dad. the day you let lawrence and i meet to talk about arranged marriage thingy."

"oh. right. i'm sorry about that."

"dad?  i told you nman na nagsinungaling dn ako na boyfriend ko si Kevin dba? May kasalanan din ako. And I told you stop doing that. stop apologizing." Tumawa nlang si Nicole kaya tumawa nlang din dad nya. The first time I saw her and her dad, their so far from each other. Pero ngayon, they seem so close but yet so far away. Parang lumalayo si Nicole. Hndi lang sa dad nya, khit samen.

“nga pala, when ako mkakalabas dito dad?”

natahimik lng sila ni micha. Lumapit ang dad nya sa kanya.

“for now ,I’m afraid, you have to stay in hospital so they can observe you. You have to drop out.”

“what? No dad! Ayokong mag padrop out! Okay pa nman ako eh. Okay lang ako. ”naiiyak na siya habang sinasabi nya paulit ulit na okay lng sya. Naawa ako kay Nicole. TT_TT

“I’m sorry Nicole.” Sabi ng dad nya at niyakap sya.

“My dad will do everything for his patients.” Sabi nman ni Christian.

“dad, naisip ko, kung pwedeng si sherry na ang pumasok sa school kapalit ko.”

“but I don’t think that’ll work.”

“why?”

“kulang pa ksi memory nya right? And, half of your blood in your body has to be transferred to her to wake her up.” Sherry? Yun ba yung sinasabi ni micha na clone ni Nicole?

“so sad, I just wanted to meet her …….. before I die.”

“don’t lose hope. Pwede ka pang gumaling.” Sabi ni chloe

“my body and mind says so.”

“because you’re giving up without trying ate.” Natahimik lng si Nicole sa sinabi ni micha. Awkward. T_T

“ahmm. Alis na po kmi ah, baka po ksi maabutan kmi ng traffic. Babalik kmi bukas Nicole ah.” Sabi ni Kevin.

“see you tomorrow.” Sabi nman ni Christian. At tumingin si Nicole saken at nagsmile, nagsmile din ako sa kanya.

“I’ll see you tomorrow.”

“ingat kayo.” Sabi niya at umalis na kmi.    

“nga pla, aiden, anu bang pinaguusapan nyo ni Nicole knina? Uuuuuy..” kiniliti ako ni chloe.

“aish. Wala.”

“atoots, nagpapakipot pa eh. Sabihin mo na!” sabi nman Kevin

“wala ngaaa.” Sabi k okay Kevin. Sakto lng, nag eye to eye kmi ni Christian. Oo nga pla, nag away pla kmi. Aayusin ko to.

“chris, I’m sorry di ko lng tlaga napigilan sarili ko. I just don’t know why you hate Chelsea so much.”

“you should ask her.” Ask Chelsea? hmmm.

“christian, I’m sorry “

“oh stop it . nababakla kna aiden?” tumawa nlang kmi.

“sabi pa nga ni Nicole, friends forever right?” sabi ni Christian

“still, I can’t believe na may sakit si Nicole.”

“di dapat nangyayari sa kanya to. Di dapat.” Sabi ko.

“christian’s dad will do everything . we know that right?” sabi ni Kevin pero natahimik nmang kming lahat. Masakit man isipin, parang wala pang pag asa para gumaling si Nicole.

“ate will do everything too.”

“abbigail’s right . we shouldn’t lose hope.”

“dad!” sabi nman ni Christian sa dad niya na patakbong nagtungo samen.

“I got a call, and I have a news. I don’t think it’s bad news bad it will make you all uncomfortable.”

“what is it tito?” tanong ni chloe

“nagising na si sherry.”
