When I woke in the morning I was surround by warmth, the bed was warmer than I imagined. I suddenly felt something tighten on my waist. I turned my head and saw Josh behind me. I sighed loudly. I don't know how or why Josh was sleeping behind me with his arms wrapped around me but it made me feel strange.

I pushed Josh off me, he groaned as he rolled onto his side. I stood by the bed staring at him as he woke up. He was gorgeous in the morning but that didn't stop him from being frustrating as hell.

When his eyes open he just stared at me for a moment before swearing, "Shit!" He rubbed his hands over his head, I knew that he would be hungover, he had a lot to drink last night. "What did I do?" he asked when he saw the glare on my face.

"What didn't you do, is the better question," I frustrated.

"Tell me," he sat up in his bed.

I groaned remembering all of yesterday. "First you left me alone in this house where I knew nothing was, secondly you went out and got drunk, and lastly you brought some girl back, I had to throw her out. Now I'm wondering how I woke up with you next to me in?"

"I'm sorry for last night. I don't know why I did what I did. I must've woken up in the night and accidently forgot about you in my bed so I climbed in behind you."

"I think we need to make up a set of rules that we have to both agree to for the next six months."

"I agree," Josh said climbing out of the bed. "Let's talk about it over breakfast.

He left the bedroom to go downstairs, I quickly changed into leggings and a long top. Downstairs Lux was sitting on the couch, Josh was in the kitchen. "I'm making waffles," he said as I entered.

"Yum," I sighed. I hadn't had waffles in forever.

Once they were done we sat together at the table eating. "So rule number one..." Josh asked.

"Number one, don't bring home any girls and I won't bring home any guys." He nodded agreeing with me. "Number two, we both cook on alternative weeks, whoever is not on the couch that week cooks."

"Fine," he groaned.

"It's fair Josh." I sighed trying to think of some more rules. "Rule number three, we don't tell anybody that we're married. I'm telling my parents today that we're dating."

"I'm never going to tell anybody I married you, it's bad enough we're telling people that we're dating."

"I know right."

"So what time are you meeting your parents?" he asked taking another bite out of his waffle.

"Around three," I told him. "I'll probably have dinner with them tonight."

We spent the rest of breakfast discussing rules for living together. We came up with at least fifteen, I just hoped that we could stick to them.

At half two in the afternoon I headed towards my parents' home. I unlocked the front door with my house key, it felt weird entering a house that I wasn't going to be living in any more even though I had only left yesterday.

"Mom! Dad! Are you home?" I called out as I walked through the house I had lived in for the last few years.

"In the kitchen!" Mom yelled back. I stepped into the kitchen and Mom came over to me, she gave me a warm hug as soon as she saw me. "Did you have a good night?"

"Yeah it was alright, just watched a film," I told her not completely telling her the truth about last night.

"Are you excited to start college on Monday?"

"Yeah ecstatic. I can't wait to start my classes."

She smiled at me. I knew she was happy that I hadn't move too far from home. After my parents got back together Mom and I moved in with Dad, this also meant that we lived closer to Holly. I was happy for the move, my old life was getting kind of boring, and moving here livened it up at bit.

"Good, good. So are you interested in anyone?"

I froze for a moment, I knew this was going to come up, she pretty much asked me every day if I was interested in someone. "Actually, there's something I need to tell you."

"Oh do tell us," Mom sat down at the table in the kitchen, Dad sat next to her and I sat opposite them.

"Um..." I stuttered. "Well... I'm kind of dating someone."

"Kind of?" they asked together.

"Yeah, we are dating, it's very new for us and we want to keep it very private at the moment."

"So... who is he?" she asked reaching across the table to hold my hand.

I took a deep breath and muttered out his name, "Josh..."

They didn't answer for a second. "Josh who?" Mom asked.

"Josh Callaway," I whispered.

They both looked shocked for a moment before Mom's face broke out into a smile. "Finally," she laughed.

"What do you mean finally?" I asked confused.

"I always knew something would happen between the two of you eventually. I've seen the way he's looked at you the last couple of years," Mom explained.

"I can't believe you've never told me this."

"Why would I tell you, it's just something that I thought might happen? Josh is a good boy, he'll look after you."

"Thanks Mom," I smiled. "I'm sure he'll be good to me."
We were silent for a moment before Dad spoke up, "So how did you two get together, I'm sure last week you hated him."
I didn't really know what to tell them, so I told them the almost truth. "We spent a lot of time together when we were in Vegas because we were the only single ones. I got to know him properly and kind of liked him. It was towards the end of the weekend when I realised that my hate for him was actually attraction. And... well he felt the same about me so he asked me on a date and we've been dating ever since," I told them.

"That's so sweet," Mom smiled. "I guess we'll be seeing a lot more of him around here then."

"I guess," I smiled.

A couple of hours later, I took a quick look at my watch and realised that it was getting late and that I should probably get going. "I need to get going."

"Okay sweetheart, we'll see you soon." Mom hugged me tightly. "Love you."

"Love you too," I said back as I left the house and headed back to my new home.
