Run Away for my Baby

Chapter 8

Ollie

Two months passed of watching my baby inside Holly grow bigger and making her glow the most beautiful glow I'd ever seen.

Things for Holly and I had been going well we were friends now. We spent weekends together talking about baby things and other stuff to get to know each other better.

But somehow over the past two months I have developed feelings for her. I know I shouldn't have feelings for Holly because of my girlfriend but I did, everything from the summer was back. I wanted to hold her in my arms again. I still remembered the first night together it only seemed like yesterday.

Seeing her every day was hard because knowing she was not mine anymore but she was once is hard to contemplate. I'm so glad that we'd made a life together, it was one thing I'll never regret, not now or tomorrow or a hundred years in the future. I love knowing she has a piece of me inside her.

After our second ultrasound we headed home, everything with the baby was perfect, I couldn't wait until he got here. Holly still thought we were having a girl but my instinct was telling me that we would be having a boy.

When we got in we headed to the lounge. I sat down next to her on the sofa and wrapped my arm around her tightly. She snuggled in closer which fills me with warmth. I placed my hand on her six months pregnant belly and felt the baby move around inside. I leant down and kissed her belly lightly, I watched as she smiles at me.

"Three months and she'll be here,” Holly smiled quietly. "I really can't wait. "

"Me neither, babe," she chuckled under her breath.  I've been calling her 'babe' since she came here.  She's the only one I call that because she is special to me. "He's going to love you so much. You are the most amazing girl I have ever met. I promise to be there for you whenever you need me, okay?"

"Thanks Ollie, you're going to be a great father to our baby."

We sat there talking for a long time.  Soon enough I saw Holly drift off to sleep.  I shook her slightly to wake her up. "Holl, head to bed you’re tired, you need to sleep.” She nodded her head slowly before struggling to get up. I kissed her forehead before she left.

A little while later the doorbell rang loudly into the house. I got up off the sofa to answer it. When I opened the door a body launched themselves at me. The body attacked my face with kisses.

When the body finally pulled away, I looked up to see Alyssa smiling in front of me.  "Hey Sexy," she slurred.

"Hi Lyss, what you doing here?" I asked her stepping back.

"I came to see you, Ollie. We haven't spent much time together recently.  I miss you. "

Alyssa and I hadn't had sex since Holly had been here. I felt as though it was disrespectful to her and to be honest I kind of don't want to have sex with Alyssa,  she just doesn't do it for me anymore.

"Not tonight Lyss, I’m not feeling it at the moment, I’ve had a long day and I just want to sleep."

"Fine but we haven't had sex in forever, I just want you sexy. Maybe we can meet up this weekend and spend time together."

"I'm busy this weekend, I can't meet up with you," I lied to her.  I don't want to spend more time than needed with her.

"What busy with her?" she questioned angrily.  "You spend more time with her than you do me. I don't know why she's just some slut that got pregnant. "

I got angry at this point because no one talks about my girl like that.  "She isn't a slut, did you know that she's only been with one person."

"She's lying to you.  She just wants you to help her look after her baby."

"No she doesn't. I want to help her because she is a friend."

"Fine whatever, I'm leaving.  I'll see you in school."

"Yep see ya," I said closing the door behind her. I leant back against the door and sighed loudly, I wish everything was normal again.

I headed up to bed quickly and flopped onto my bed. A little while later I heard the door open slowly. I recognised the figure in the doorway as Holly. I whispered to her, "What you doing in here?"
