Holly
After we get home from work Carley asked me to join her in the games room. She told me that some of the guys from her year hang out here after school. I accepted, I wanted to get to know people.
We head to the room, inside there's four guys and a few girls who lounge on the sofas. Three of the guys looked so familiar, the fourth had his back to me.
Slowly he turned towards Carley and me. My heartbeat quicken as I look over him. I knew his body so well. I knew his face, his soft lips and gorgeous eyes and finally dark hair I love to tug.
Sh*t!
Sh*t!
Sh*t!
He was here standing in front of me. I didn't know what to do.
I thought I would never see him again but I see him here, the last place I thought I’d ever see him. I felt tears well up in my eyes. I want to back out of this room.
I take a couple of calming breaths, it works. This summer flashes through my eyes, of when we met and everything we did together.
Carley tugged me into the room over to the girls. "So, this Holly girls. Holly, this is Chloe, Gianna and Alyssa," Carley said pointing to each of the girls.
"We've already met," Alyssa said looking at me. "We met this morning. How do you know each other?"
"We met this morning as well," I said shyly. I'm not great with new people, I get a little nervous. "We also work together."
"How old are you?" Gianna asked me smiling politely.
"I'm seventeen, I'll be eighteen in May."
"Oh so you’re in our year at school?"
"Yeah, I guess. I'm planning to start next week. Olivia sorted it out for me."
Suddenly Alyssa got up and strutted over towards him. She pulled him in close and kissed him hard. I could feel the tears in my eyes again. I didn't want to see this.
"Hey do you want to go?" Carley asked awkwardly beside me. I nodded quickly. I needed to get out of here. "Let’s go to your room," she said dragging me out of the room by my hand.
We headed upstairs to my room. The tears in my eyes were about to spill over the edge.
"Talk to me." We sat on bed facing each other. Her sweet face looked honest and open like she really cared about me. "What happened down there?"
I sniffed loudly. "He's my baby daddy," I whispered truthfully.
"What?" she asked confused.
"Ollie is my baby's daddy." From the confused look on her face I understood that she didn't understand what I was saying. "Carley..." I breathed deeply. "I'm... pregnant and Ollie's the father."
I see her take in the news quickly. I know she's in shock, wondering how this happened.
"How?" is all that comes out of her mouth?
"We met this summer and had this real connection straight away. We dated for the whole summer and at the end of the summer we had sex. I guess we forgot about protection and I got pregnant."
"I'm sorry."
"Not your fault."
"You know he's a player?"
"What?"
"Alyssa may be his girlfriend but he's slept with a lot of other girls as well, before they were together. But this is just rumours, I don't know for sure."
"Okay thanks for telling me."
"So are you going to tell him?"
"I guess I have to now, he's going to find out sooner or later."
"Yep he is," she said smiling happily at me. "I'll be here for you all the way okay?" I nodded.
"By the way I know who Jake is too. He had a bit of a thing with one of my friends. It wasn't serious though, just sex."
"Oh okay," Carley said disappointingly.
I try to cheer her up. "So when did you come here?"
"Over the summer, my parents were so fed up of me at home, they kicked me out. I met Jake when he and the guys came back from their holiday. He was the hottest guy I'd ever seen and well I want him."
"I know how that feels."
"Oh by the way Alyssa's b*tch. She sleeps around behind Ollie's back and is nasty to half the school population. She hates you already."
"What why?"
"Because Ollie was looking at you. Don't make friends with her, I'm not, Gi and Chloe are decent though, a little blonde but decent."
"Thank Car, you are amazing, I think we're going to be besties."
"Sure we are. I kind of love you already. You know more about me than anybody."
"Same for me. I want sleep now though. So I guess I'll see you tomorrow."
"Sure girl see you tomorrow." She exits my room.
I quickly changed into my pyjamas and climbed into bed. I switched my light off and rested my hands on my stomach. "Love you baby," I whispered to myself.

As I drifted to sleep a bang wakes me up. I heard footsteps come closer to me.
"Holly!" someone shook me.
"Ummm," I groaned tiredly.
"What are you doing here?" Suddenly my eyes shot open and looked up at Ollie standing above.
"What are you doing in here?" I asked groggily. "Do you even remember me?"
“I remember you, we dated this summer,” he said looking me straight in the face. “You were the best summer fling I’ve ever had.”
“Well I’m not going to be your summer fling ever again,” I said sternly.
“Hey why are you so upset that you were a summer fling?”
“Because things happen,” I felt tears well up in my eyes.
“What things happened?” he asked confused.
“Remember the first time we slept together,” he nodded. “I was due my period the following week it didn’t come. We slept together a couple of times after that not that made any difference. Then last month I took a... pregnancy test and it came out... positive. You’re going to be a father Ollie.”
"You're pregnant?"
"Yeah I am. It's yours Ollie."
"No I can't be a father. I'm only eighteen. I'm too young. You're going to have to do this on your own," he told me before storming out of my room. I felt the tears leak from my eyes. He doesn't our baby. He doesn't want us.
My heart breaks.
