I was dressed so beautifully. The white dress I wore accentuated the small and growing bump I had, I loved looking at it and feeling it there. I was so happy.
Today was supposed to be one of the happiest days of my life and it already was, I just couldn't wait to get married to him... again. For real this time.
It had been a month since Josh and I got back together and today was our wedding day.
We got the first available date the hotel, we were having the wedding in, allowed us. Josh and I wanted to marry as soon as possible because we thought there was no point of waiting as we had already been married before and we'd be having a baby in a few short months.
Our parents had been extremely happy to hear of our engagement and wanted to help us plan the wedding. I was so grateful for their help. Telling them that we were having a baby as well was hard to do but they were supporting our decisions, Mom couldn't wait for another grandbaby. We decided not to tell them the gender just yet because Josh and I wanted to keep it for ourselves for a while.
After getting out of the hospital a few days after I woke up, I moved straight back in with Josh. I had missed being with him in the home that we had created together. As soon as I stepped in the front door of the house, Lux had jumped up at me wanting to be stroked and cuddled. I had missed her so much.
It felt so good to be home.
Not long after I started planning the wedding. I wanted an intimate setting for it to take place so I only invited close friends and family.
"It's time" my father broke me from my daydreaming as I stood in front of the mirror looking at the beautiful dress I was wearing. "You look gorgeous." Tears pricked at the corners of my eyes at the words. Dad and I had become closer in the last month and I was glad that he was walking me down the aisle like I had always wanted.
"Let's go," I said taking his arm. He held me tightly against him like he didn't want to let go.
Soon enough I was standing next to a handsome looking Josh with Dad whispering the words, "I love you Annie, I always have." I smiled at the words and kissed his cheek.
Josh grabbed my hands once my father stepped away from me. "You're the most beautiful creature I've ever seen," Josh leant down to kiss me lightly. I giggled at his words.
"Let's being," the minister said.
The ceremony was quick. I couldn't believe how fast it was and now I was officially Josh Callaway's wife for the second time. I couldn't be happier.
"Thank you all for being here today," Josh stood up for where we were sitting eating our dinner. "Most of you do know that Anna and I didn't have a great relationship for the last four years and that was all my fault. I was jealous of the guys that Anna could date so I tried to stop them and did so successfully. But that costed me her affection and she's hated me all these years. Somehow last summer I managed to persuade her to give me a shot and she did. For six months we dated, we argued a lot I tell you but I made this beautiful girl fall in love with me. The problem for me was that I didn't know how she felt and she didn't know how I felt so our relationship broke apart," Josh took a big breath and leaned down to kiss my forehead. "Then a month ago I got the opportunity to get her back. We married today because I knew that I couldn't spend another day without her. I love you Anna Banana." I reach up and pulled Josh's face to mind. I kissed him sweetly, I loved this man more than he would ever know because words couldn't describe the feeling.
"I want to say something too," I said standing up next to Josh. He pulled me in tightly against him so that my back rested against his front, his arms wrapped around me tightly so I could barely move from where I was standing. "Josh, I hate you," gasps came from around the room. "You annoy me constantly, you're an asshole a lot of the time but I love you more than I hate you. You made me fall in love with you in the last year, I couldn't be happier than I am with you. Life without you is hard so I'm choosing the easy path to be with you, and I don't regret it. I can't wait to start a family with you Joshy Washy," tears spilled out of my eyes as I spoke to him and our family. I was so in love with my husband I was glad I had the rest of my life to show him.
"Me too, Baby," he whispered into my ear.
A cheer came from around us as I finished speaking. I was so happy.
"Kiss. Kiss. Kiss," came from the crowd as they cheered us.
Josh turned me around to face him. He held my face lightly in his hands and pulled me closer to him. He softly kissed me, so that I could cherish everything about the kiss. I loved him so much.
"To the bride and groom," my father said once Josh and I had pulled away from each other. The applause got louder as we sat back down in our seats.
Throughout the night Josh and I shared countless kisses and 'I love you's' to each other. Our first dance together as husband and wife was amazing. Josh held me tightly against him like he didn't want to let me go, I didn't want him to let me go. Every so often he would kiss me and mutter a few words to me. He had made the night perfect.
When we got home, Josh carried me up to our bedroom and stripped me of my wedding dress until I was naked on the bed. I felt so desirable as he looked at me with love.
A little while later we were making love for the first time being a married couple. I felt better than any other time, maybe it was because he was finally my husband.
We snuggled up tightly once we had finished, his arms pulled me close to his naked chest. It felt amazing. "I love you Wife," he muttered tiredly.
"I love you Husband," I sighed as I fell asleep peacefully in the arms of the one I loved.
