Chapter 22

Ollie

Holly was curled up in a ball when I joined her in bed, so I wrapped myself around her, this felt amazing. I knew I had to tell her that I loved her and that’s exactly what I planned for tomorrow. But for now I was willing to tell her while she slept. I kissed the back of her neck gently and as I did so I felt her slightly tense and let out a quiet moan. That noise was so sexy.

“Holly,” I whispered. “Holly… I love you.” I kissed the side of her forehead before going down to her neck and then the sweet sport on her collarbone. “I always will.”

I then rested back against the soft pillows of her bed. I had just told my beautiful angel that I loved her whilst she slept. I sighed and closed my eyes. Pictures fluttered through my vision, it was of us, and it was that same scene I saw over a year ago. I really wanted that now. I wanted to be with her.

I felt her turn to face. I could feel her eyes staring at my face but what she said next surprised me, “I love you too. I always will.” I felt her soft lips touch mine, I wanted so badly to kiss her back. I felt my eyes open to stare at her, she was so beautiful.

Her lips were still on my so I kissed her back. At first they were gentle but as time went on I could feel them becoming more passionate. Soon enough I found myself laying on top of her breathing quickly. My want for her was so strong that she could feel it too. I pulled away from her and just stared into her eyes. I felt like this was the perfect time to tell her how I felt. I took a deep breath and said the words, “I love you.”

Her face lit up with those three words, her smile was wide and beautiful but what happened next made me have the same smile as her too. “I love you too.”

I leant down and kissed her hungrily, whispering, ‘love you’ all over her skin. I held onto her thighs and wrapped them around her waist. “I want you so much baby.”

“I want you too,” she said wrapping her arms tightly around my neck. “But not now.”

This shocked me, “Why baby?”

“I don’t want to have sex while Jamie is in the room.” That statement cleared my head, I knew I couldn’t have sex when Jamie was in the room, he didn’t need to hear his mommy and daddy going at it.

“Yeah you’re right.” I kissed her one last time. “I love you.”

“Love you too.”

“You know baby, that it took me over a year for me to say those words to you.”

“Me too. I’ve wanted to tell you I loved you forever ago but I thought that you didn’t want to be with me.”

“That never crossed my mind baby. I’ve wanted you since I met you. I’ll never stop wanting you.”

“So what happens now?” she asked me resting her head against my chest.

“You want to be my girlfriend?” I felt her nod enthusiastically against my chest. “Good. Now let’s get some sleep.”

“Okay, love you.”

“Love you too, baby.”

Soon enough we found ourselves falling asleep cuddled up with each other.

I woke up with Holly curled around me, her head was resting on my chest and a leg swung over me. I loved the feeling of having her around me. Everything was perfect now, Holly was mine and she loved me, the only thing left to do was to put a ring on her finger, then we could be a proper family.

She mumbled into my chest as she woke up. “Morning baby,” I kissed her.

“Morning,” she sighed back. “Did last night really happen”?
