Holly
I sat down next to my friends, the sun streaming in through the large windows of the café. We sat at our usual table laughing about something that happened at school the other week. We haven’t been out together in ages, each of us had boyfriends and we spent most of the time with them. However we all broke up with them a week ago. We each wanted to find our guy this summer, or meet someone we could spend time with that we’ll never see again.
I wanted a guy that wouldn’t hurt me in the end; I just wanted someone for the summer both of us knowing that it’ll be over at the end of the summer. I don’t want a boy who will take my breath away, I want someone I can have fun with this summer.
A flash of silver light catches me in the eye turn to look for where it came from. A group of boys sat in one corner drinking large cups of coffee. I notice how good looking and hot they look but one boy, the one facing me stands out from the rest of them.
The boy facing me takes a bite out of a sandwich, I watch as his jaw moves as he eats, somehow it fascinates me. Suddenly he looks up towards me; I see a slight smile form on his face. He looks me straight in the eye and nods slowly.
“Now they are hot,” Tilley a close friend of mine said looking at the boys.
We spend ages talking about them. Until we notice them getting up out of their seats. They walk towards us.
“You don’t mind if we join you ladies,” said the guy with short golden blonde hair and striking green eyes. We all nod in acceptance. The boy who looked at me sits right next to me.
“I’m Ollie,” he said looking at me fully. His eyes are deep and blue. His hair is dark and soft. His lips are red and full. “And you are?”
“I’m Holly,” I said in reply.
"Hey our names rhyme," he laughed.
"Yeah they do," I laughed back. “I’m sure we haven’t seen you around here before.”
“No you haven’t we’re spending our summer here. We only arrived yesterday and now we’ve met some pretty girls,” he said looking at me. “We’re only staying two months. But it would be helpful if someone could show us around.”
“We’d be delighted to show you around,” Tilley smiled at them all. “So what are all your names?”
They tell us their names, there is: Jake, Ollie, Max and Milo. “I think I’ll take you Jake, you are gorge. Zoe, how about you?” Tilley smiled grapping Jake. He will be in her bed by the end of the day.
“I think I’ll have Milo, he fits my perfect profile,” Zoe said in her sweet voice. Zoe is the loveliest girl and hardly ever has a boyfriend. She probably has only had two in the time I’ve known her.
“I guess I’ll have Max then,” Rachael said in her disappointed voice but we all know she really did want him. “I’ll see you guys later,” she said taking Max’s hand and dragging him out of the café. They all follow after leaving me with Ollie.
“So Holly do you have a boyfriend?” Ollie asked me. Just like that I know that’s how we start.

It takes me the next few weeks to get to know Ollie. We spend hours talking to each other over the phone every day. There’s something about him that can’t keep me away. I want to know him in every way possible. We haven’t seen each other since the day at the café but he called this morning and asked me to meet up with him.
That afternoon we meet and chat and flirt and everything makes me feels so good. It was like a date, it must have been a date.
I feel his hands on mine, the tingling rush of warmth running through me, every time he touched me. At the end of the day he walks me home my hand in his. “I’d like to do this again Holly.”
“Yeah me too, I’ll see you tomorrow,” I said quickly kissing him on the cheek and heading inside.
We have five more dates after that each one of them perfect, he takes my breath away. At the end of our fifth date we walk home hand in hand, it feels right. He walks me up to my front door. He slowly leans into kiss me. His lips light against mine. I kiss him back gently.
As we kiss it gets hotter and we kiss each other more strongly. We need to break apart this is going too quickly. He pulled away from me. “I’ll see you tomorrow,” he said giving me one final kiss. I dream about the kiss all night.

Ollie is leaving two weeks before the end of the summer, we’ve had the best time this summer; going to parties and staying out late, even just sitting at the park talking. I’ve never had a better summer. But there was one thing that would complete this summer for both of us as a final farewell.
In three weeks’ time he was gone; I’m going to miss him. On Friday night a couple weeks before he leaves we walk back to his summer apartment he shares with his friends. We go to his room like usual. We’d never done anything yet but we both want to, there’s sexual tension between us.
I kiss him and he kisses me back. "Are you sure?"
"Yes," I whispered against his lips.
He strips me of my clothes, knowing he’ll be the first person to see me naked like this, and I strip him of his. We kiss for what seems like forever.
In the morning we lie next to each other in bliss. He kisses me sweetly. “I’ve had the best summer of my life because of you.” I reply by kissing him again.

We sleep together a few times before he leaves. I miss him at first, even though he calls. But then the calls get further apart and we lose contact. I miss him even more then. Most evenings I sit looking at the pictures of us or just him. It was the best summer of my life. The only problem was that I fell for him when I shouldn’t have; I only wanted a summer fling.
