"Are you okay?" Neo asked sa kabilang linya.
Yeah, as stated we're talking through a phone call. Akalain mo nga namang passed 11pm na tumatawag pa. Geez.
"Yeah." I replied.
"Have you eaten already?"
"Yes." I answered after a sigh.
"Don't forget to lock the windows of your room." he reminded.
"I checked it already. You don't need to mention it anymore."
"One more thing, take your v---"
"Neo." I mutter as I was busy maintaing my cool.
"Yes, wife?"
"Wife?" I asked in disbelief.
"I find 'wifey' weird so I used 'wife' instead."
Buti alam mo.
I unconsciously shook my head because of the thought.
"Whatever." I murmured. "Anyway, pwede ba kumalma ka?" I sarcastically added.
"What's wrong?" I'm sure nakakunot nanaman ang noo nya.
"Wow, Neo. Really? You're asking me what's wrong?" I mocked. "Well, pwede mo nang palitan si mommy sa dami ng bilin mo."
"Am I not allowed to do so? And mind you, I'll be your husband, not mother. Tsk."
"I get it, but my point is, don't be so paranoid!"
"Mahal lang talaga kita."
I blushed after hearing what he said.
"Tss. Aren't you get used to it until now?" I bet that he's wearing his poker face again while saying these.
"Okay." really, I am not capable of saying cheesy lines. Pft.
"You are supposed to say that you love me too, aren't you?"
"Is it required?" I lazily asked.
I heard him cussed. "Is it that hard for you to say that you love me too?"
"Why are you talking like that? You're acting like a possessive boyfriend."
"Well, I am."
"Geez, Neo!" I exclaimed.
"What?"
"Bye. I'm sleepy." I tried my best to sound sleepy.
"Don't yet!" there's his manly voice again. It's like he's begging.
"Ano ba, Neo? Parang hindi magkikita bukas." inis ko nang nasabi.
"I'm nervous and at the same time excited. What will you expect? Tss."
"Tch. Stop overthinking, trust me it will not help."
"I can't help it. Damn it." he muttered after a sigh.
"I love you."
"Keira..." he breathed.
"Leche. Wag kang kiligin, matulog ka na! Bye." that's all and I hanged up.
That crazy guy.
A naughty smile formed on my lip before I even knew it.
Well yeah, it's our wedding day tomorrow.
