I walked up the stairs to Danny's room with a smile. It had been a couple weeks since I had gotten released from the hospital and I was still a bit sore. I still had bruises everywhere and kept getting headaches from time to time but I was surviving.
"Danny?" I knocked on the door.
"Come in." He said.
I shielded my eyes. "You aren't naked, are you?"
"No. And since when do you care if I'm naked or not?" He smirked while sitting on the bed with a sketchbook and pencil in his hands.
"You're right." I sighed and put my bag down. "What are you doing?"
"Nothing." He said and went back to work.
I got on the bed and crawled up behind him, wrapping my arms around his body and kissing his neck. Then I got the glimpse of the perfectly detailed woman.
"That's really good. Who is it?"
"No one."
"You should draw me. I'll pose for you and you can draw me like one of your French girls." I chuckled and kissed his cheek.
"Maybe I will have you pose for me sometime." He grinned.
I stole his sketchbook out of his hands and flipped through the pages to find various drawings of nude men and women and also some pretty dark ones.
"You're really talented." I told him.
"Thanks."
"You should go to art school. You know, Florance has a really great art program."
"Just drop it, Max." He said and took the sketchbook back.
This happened on more than one of college. Whenever I brought up the topic of picking colleges, he would always change the subject. I didn't know what was wrong with him and college but he seemed like he didn't want to talk about it.
Whatever it was, I wanted to know. All I wanted was to spend the rest of my life with my boyfriend.
