It was Graduation Day. I was practically shaking when up on that stage.

Going to Harvard didn't prove that I was a huge brainiack with a 5.0 GPA. I wasn't as brilliant as some of the people I was standing with and didn't deserve to be next to them. The truth was, Harvard was a waste of time. In those five years I was doing the wrong thing. I majored in Literature with a duel major in Education and thank every god I did. I realized I didn't want to be a Literature nerd, I wanted to be a teacher and work with kids. Maybe I'd be an English teacher. If anything, I would want to teach high school kids and go 'carpe diem' on their asses. But I realized what my true calling was and I was going for it.

"Maxwell Evens." The Dean called and I walked up to get my diploma.

Hello, adulthood.

.       .       .

There was no party after the ceremony so Levi and I just went home. I knew he had already been planning our own private celebration.

"So, Mr. Evens, are you going to let me bend you over the desk and spank you when you get your classroom." Levi mocked as we got into our apartment.

"Haha, very funny. Make fun of the man who wants to be a teacher." I rolled my eyes at him.

"Hey, I want to be a therapist so you can always let out your feelings and I can bang you in my office."

I cupped his cheek. "You've had such a dirty mind lately, babe. You should evaluate that in your psych class."

"Damn, that was cold."

"That's just how I am."

"Nah, you're too sweet for that." He kissed my lips.

I smiled. "So, what do you have planned for tonight?"

"Just about everything you could beg for."

"I like the sound of that." I kissed him again and heard the doorbell ring.

I walked over and opened the door to face the same person who raped me all of those years ago. All of the color and feeling drained away from my body as I stood there stiff and in shock.

"Hello, Maxwell." My father said with a cold smile.
