As I looked in the bathroom mirror the only thing I could saw was my father grinning at me. I saw flashes of him touching me under the table. He haunted me so much and I couldn't get rid of him.
"Max, let's play a game." I heard his voice echo. "Just like old times, right?"
"Leave me alone!" I clasped my hands to my ears as tears rolled down my cheeks.
"Max!" He called again.
"Max, it's me!" Danny called, snapping me out of it.
I looked up at Danny through tears eyes. I was on the bathroom floor and he was kneeling down next to me. He had been shaking me, trying to snap his insane boyfriend out of his trance. Everything was still a bit fuzzy as I stared at his hazel beauties.
"Danny?" I called out in a small, scared voice.
My boyfriend wrapped his arms around me and rubbed circles in my back to calm me. "It's me, baby. I'm here now."
I just cried into his chest for a while and didn't let go. Being triggered like that was a first for me. But as long as I had Danny there for me, it would be fine.
