Max's mother
*6 months later*
One of the worst decisions I had made in my life was letting my mother live with me when I moved back to California. She practically begged me to let her because she needed to get away from my father. Ever since then she had been up my ass about religion and the men I dated.
My taste in guys did get shitter as time progressed. I was having one night stands at least twice a week and didn't really care enough to be in a relationship.
After a long day of surfing, I decided to unwind at a local gay bar. Okay, I'll admit I did go there every weekend but that didn't matter. All that was important was that I was going to get laid.
"The usual?" Andy, the bartender asked with a grin. He had nothing but thin, tight booty shorts on.
"Sure." I replied.
He gladly made me a margarita. "So, my shift ends in about fifteen minutes and you're really fucking hot so why don't you take me home."
I smiled. "Well, I'm not usually the type to have the bartender fuck me but I guess I can try it out."
That was how low I had sunk without Danny Dominitri in my life.
. . .
"Do you have a condom?" I asked Andy.
Our clothes were off. We were in my bed. I was making mistakes.
"No. Are you clean?" He asked.
"Of course I am."
"Me too."
The kiss was deep but I felt absolutely nothing toward the man. He was just another fuck. He positioned myself and that's when I heard the door swing open, preventing me from making that life changing mistake.
"MAXWELL EVENS WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING!?" My mother screamed.
By the time my clothes were on, Andy was long gone. My mother was furious with me, arms crossed and everything.
"What do you want, old lady?" I asked when meeting her downstairs.
"I will not tolerate this type of behavior with you! This is the last time!" She pointed to the door. "I want you out of the house and away from me now, you sinner!"
"Fine, have the fucking house. I don't fucking care."
After getting my stuff, I headed straight for the airport. The only where I could think to go was Somerville. Home.
