Yeah a part of me misses New York terribly. It's where I was raised of course I'm going to get home sick, but Viana is my world now and I wouldn't change that for the world.

We both had school today. Her cousin is at the house watching the baby for us. Viana is in her sociology class right now and I'm in my African American studies class. I met a few guys who were really cool and invited me to a party this weekend. College life is going to be great.

Me and Viana are meeting at the student lounge so we can go home together. Her cousin has to go to work so we have to make sure we get home on time. I walked out of my class and I seen someone who looked like Jessica but she was pregnant.

"Hi Diggy." The Jessica lookalike was talking to me.

"Jessica?" I was shocked.

"Yeah. I'm going here now." She fake smiled.

"You're pregnant?" I looked down.

"Yeah, I'm just a few months." She gave me a fake laugh. She shifted the books in her arms.

"Let me help you with that." I grabbed her books from her. Her phone rang.

"Hello? Did you feed him? Okay thanks for babysitting. I'm on my way." She hung up.

"Everything okay?" I looked at her.

She took her books from me. "Yeah everything's fine. I was just checking on my son."

"You have a son?" I frowned.

"I gotta go. It was nice seeing you." She walked off.

I looked at my watch and realized I was running late. When I got there Viana was already there.

"Hey guess who's pregnant?" She smiled.

"Jessica." I answered.

She frowned. "Yeah, how did you know?"

"I ran into her on my way here." I shook my head.

When we got to the house I decided to watch Ivery while Viana did her homework. I couldn't stop thinking about what Jessica had said and how I was gonna tell Viana. It would probably crush her because I know that if I'm thinking what I'm thinking there's no telling what she's going to think when I tell her.

Her heart is still fragile and I know that this is going to be another stab to her heart. And how do you do that? How do you tell the love of your life that her happy ending isn't going exactly as planned. Now is not the time to lie to her though. I just have to do it.

"So you know how I ran into Jessica today?" I interrupted her work.

She dropped her pen. "Yeah?"

"She told me today that she has a son." I scanned her eyes.

She ran her fingers through her hair. She closed her books and walked into the bathroom. I knew it had already hurt her because me and her both now the truth. If Jessica does have a son...it's mine.
