Most of my best memories are from my childhood. I was one of those kids who believed fairy tales were real life possibilities. When Id daydream about my prince he was this small caramel skinned boy with eyes the color of milk chocolate. He had metal jewelry inside his mouth and small silk curls at the top of his head.

If you're wondering who I'm talking about, I'm talking about my best friend Daniel Simmons, better known as Diggy to family and friends.

Oh me? I'm Viana Jones. I've known Diggy for 17 years now. I just turned 17 this month, three days ago to be exact. Diggy will be 18 on the 21st of March. His birthday is in 2 weeks. So as you should know by now I've known Diggy all my life.

He is my very best friend. Well today that small caramel skinned prince with train tracks across his teeth has grown into a tall muscular god. Those metal tracks that were across his teeth helped because now I'd pay money just to see him smile.

He's been my prince since we were little and still is in my junior year of high school. He just doesn't know that. He will never know that.

So I just write and write and write. It's my only way of coping with my feelings towards him. I musically and poetically put all my feelings for him together. This is something I'd be terrified for him to see. It could wreck our friendship. That's the last thing I want.

I think that's why I always seize telling him how I feel. What if he doesn't feel the same way? I'm definitely not changing that. I write everyday and everyday it's something different, but it's always about the same person, my best friend.

"Hey best friend." that voice gave me chills.

I turned around and of course it was the only guy who could make my whole body shiver, Diggy.

"Hey you." I tried so hard to stay chill, but chills were the problem.

He hugged me and the scent of his cologne and Dove soap covered me. I liked it. Then he let me go, I didn't like that too much.

"You're coming to my party right?" His eyes told me exactly what answer he was looking for.

"Of course." I lied.

"Great, I'll see you later. Love you." That always made me smile.

He then rushed off to class.

"Love you too." It sucks that we were using two totally different definitions of the word "love".

I know you're probably wondering why I'm not going to his party if I love him like I say I do. Well here's why, me and Diggy are on two totally different levels. I'm a junior and he's a senior, he's the guy every guy wants to be and every girl wants to date, we hang in different crowds. Plus, I like it when I have him all to myself. I always want his undivided attention. I know, pretty selfish right? I want all of him, all the time.

I walked away from my locker and headed towards my photography class, same class as Diggy. I never rushed to that class and there's only one reason why, Diggy's girlfriend Jessica.
