I'm freaking out. Last night I was looking through my backpack and noticed that my composition book wasn't there. I must've left it in my photography class and that scares me. The two people I never want to get a hold of that book left class after I did.

This morning I went to my photography class but my teacher said he hadn't seen it. Someone has my book. I walked into my art class and Diggy wasn't there. I was glad. I was hurt by him. He's giving me mixed signals. He's kissing me in my house and telling me he loves me at school, but he's allowing Jessica to kiss all over him and when I ran out yesterday he didn't even chase me.

I spent most of the day with Tamara and a few of my other senior friends. They all grilled me about letting go of Diggy. They were telling me the same thing Romeo was. I didn't listen to him and I'm not listening to them.

Photography came and so did Diggy and Jessica. I didn't have anything to say to him so I got the pass along with my camera and decided I was going to just walk around school. Diggy grabbed me before I could get one foot out of the door.

"You're not mad at me are you?" He looked pitiful.

"Why would I be? We're just best friends remember?" And on that note I walked out of class.

I felt like I had been punched in the stomach about ten times. All I want to do now is find my book.

After school I went home and my mom was not back yet. I bet you anything her and Mama J extended their trip. I did my homework at the kitchen table and babysat my neighbor's six month old baby girl while she went shopping. I love babies. After she left I was bored with nothing to do. Then out of no where Diggy sent me a text.

"Come over now."

I couldn't hear the tone in his voice through text but something wasn't right. What did Jessica do now? I made my way next door and rang the doorbell.

He opened the door. He smiled at me like it was his first time seeing me in a long time. I was a little upset still but the way he was smiling at me I couldn't help but smile.

"My mom called and told me that they were spending another night." He smirked.

"You couldn't text me and tell me that?" I folded my arms.

"That's very impersonal Ms. Jones." That smirk didn't fade.

"It would've saved me the trip Mr. Simmons." I smirked back.

"Let's head back to your house." He was up to something now.

"Let's go." I knew exactly what I was getting myself into. I forgot all about my book being gone.
