I walked into the house from walking to the bus stop to hear loud cries come from Jason. I let out a sigh and throw my shoes off. I walked into the kitchen to find Liam trying to calm Jason down. I walk to Liam and take Jason out of his arms. I start calming him down.
" Did you change his diaper?" I ask. Jason closed his eyes once he was calm.
" Of course I did. He just likes to cry when I'm alone with him." Liam says. I look down at Jason.
" Why do you cry with daddy? You're almost a month old cupcake, you can't keep crying around daddy." I say. Jason stays quiet. I roll my eyes. I look at Liam.
" When is your first appointment today?" I ask. Liam looks at the time on the microwave. He looks back at me.
" In a couple minutes. So, if you don't mind, I'll be downstairs getting everything ready." Liam says. He walks out of the kitchen and down the stairs. I look at Jason in my arms. He had opened eyes so I can see his brown puppy eyes.
" Daddy is all about his hair appointments, isn't he Jay?" I ask. Jason smiles. I kiss his forehead. I look at the clock on the microwave. It read 7:55am. I look back down at Jason.
" Would you like to watch mommy make breakfast for herself?" I ask. Jason giggles. I smile.
" I'll take that as a yes. Alright, here we go." I say. I place Jason in his swing that is placed in the kitchen. I grab all the ingredients to make crepes. I start making me some crepes.
After I finished making the crepes, I put them on the table and placed Jason's swing right by my seat at the table. I sat down in my chair and was about to eat my crepes when the doorbell rings. I frowned and looked at Jason.
" Who could that be cupcake?" I ask. I picked Jason up and walked to the door. I swung the door open and was met with a woman.
" How may I help you?" I ask.
" I'm here for my hair appointment with Liam." She says.
" Oh! Then, come in. He's downstairs getting ready." I say. The woman walked into our home. She looked at me.
" So, are you his maid or what? And was it bring you child to work day?" She asks. I frown at her.
" I'm his wife and this is his son." I say.
" Oh, that's funny. You don't look like his wife and that could be anyone's child." She says. I nod my head slowly.
" Yeah, alright," I say," Liam! Your customer is here!" I hear Liam walk up the stairs. He walks into the room where we are and smiles a small smile.
" Sophia, I didn't know it was going to be you!" Liam says. She smiles.
" It's very nice to see you again Liam. I happened to be in town and needed something done with my hair and my friend recommended you." This Sophia says.
" Have you met my wife? Sophia, this is Millie. Millie, this is Sophia." Liam introduces. Sophia smiles at me. And in that smile, I could tell that was her bitch smile.
" Hi Millie. Your son is so adorable." Sophia says. I put on my bitch smile.
" Thank you. He gets his adorableness from this hunk of meat." I say placing an open hand on Liam's shoulder. Liam kisses the top of me head. He looks at Sophia.
" Alright, let's get you downstairs. What do you want to do with your hair?" Liam says. I couldn't hear her respond. I look at Jason in my arms.
" Was it me or did this Sophia look real bitchy to you cupcake?" I ask. Jason lets out a giggle. I kiss his face.
