" Mummy, can I have dessert?" Kaylee asks just finishing her dinner. We were all having dinner together at the house because Luke insisted that we stay together.
" Not tonight Kaylee. You just finished your dinner and it's close to bedtime." I say wiping Jason's face. We had spaghetti and lets just say the sauce ended up all over Jason's face and not in his mouth.
" Daddy, can I have dessert?" Kaylee asks batting her eyelashes. Liam looks at me.
" You just asked mummy, and mummy just said no." Liam says.
" But daddy." Kaylee says pouting her lip out.
" Princess, don't you pull your cuteness on me. Mummy said no and I'm going on mummy's word." Liam says. I smile at him.
" I'm glad. Younger than you and you still listen to me and make me the boss." I say.
" It's because I love you." Liam says.
" Li, can you take Kaylee and Luke upstairs and put them to bed? I probably should bathe Jason tonight." I say.
" No!" Jason squeals.
" You're such a messy boy! I have to clean you cupcake." I say. Jason shakes his head. I stand up and pick him up and place him on my hip.
" Mommy, I need a bath tonight too." Luke says. I look at him.
" No you don't. You just cleaned yourself yesterday night. It's not bath night for you." I say.
" But I'm dirty, like Jason." Luke says. I shake my head.
" It's okay. Just go to bed and daddy will tuck you in." I say.
" But I don't like when daddy tucks me in." Luke says.
" Daddy is standing right here and he has feelings." Liam says. Luke looks at him apologetically.
" Luke, just go to bed and have daddy tuck you in." I say.
" But-"
" No, Luke, it's final." I say cutting him off. He nods his head. I walk upstairs and to the bathroom. I place Jason down on the ground. I grab a towel and place it on top of the sink. I start the bath when I notice Jason crawling away from me. I walk over to him and pick him up.
" Where do you think you're going, cupcake?" I ask. I place Jason right by the bathtub.
" No." Jason says. I roll my eyes. I feel the water so it's not too hot on Jason's skin. The water was warm enough so I plugged the drain. I pick up Jason before he starts crawling away again and slip his clothes off. I throw his dirty clothes in a pile together on the floor. I pick him up and place him in the bathtub. Jason immediately started to splash in the water.
" Is cupcake having fun?" I ask. Jason nods his head. I grab his soaps and pour some shampoo onto my hand. I then rub it into his hair. Jason starts whining.
" No, da." Jason whines.
" Jay, I've told you many times that I'm not daddy. We have to get you saying other words." I say washing out the soap from Jason's hair.
" No." Jason says. I put body soap onto a rag and rubbed it all over Jason's skin. He let out a big whine.
" It's okay, J.J. Mommy is almost done." I say. I start washing off the soap. I look at Jason.
" Hey cupcake, can you say mama?" I ask. Jason looks back up at me.
" No." Jason says.
" Come on, cupcake. You can say mama for me, right?" I say.
