I drive through our neighborhood trying to get home from work. Kids were already up and down the sidewalks getting candies from the neighbors.

Yep. It's Halloween.

I drive into our driveway. I turn the car off and step out of my car. I walk to the front door and walk in. I was met with two excited little children.

" Hi mommy! We are ready to go Trick-or-Treating!" A voice says right as I walk into the door from work. I look down to see Luke dressed as Batman and Kaylee dressed as Belle the princess.

" You guys look real good. Kaylee, who helped with you hair?" I ask slipping my heels off my feet.

" I did. Doesn't it look great?" A voice coming from the kitchen. Liam shows up to the front room dressed as Robin.

" Yeah, looks good." I say.

" Mummy, we go Trick-or-Treating now?" Kaylee asks.

" Hold on, let me get out of my work clothes and put on regular clothes." I say.

" Come on mum, you have to wear a costume. It's Halloween." Liam says. I look at him weird. Did he really just call me mom?

" But I didn't buy any costumes for myself." I say.

" But I did." Liam says," Kiddos, grab your candy buckets and we'll be back down."

" Okay daddy!" Luke and Kaylee exclaim. They run away. Liam grabs my hand and leads me upstairs. We walk into our room. He walks into the closet and pulls out a Cat Woman costume. He smiles. I frown at him.

" You really got me a Cat Woman costume?" I ask.

" Well, yes, because I need my lady fighting crime with me." Liam says.

" You do realize that its Batman she fights with, right?" I ask.

" Yes, I do realize Cat Woman was with batman. But Luke wanted to be Batman and he wanted me to be his sidekick. I didn't want to upset him. So you fight crime with Robin instead. Please just wear the costume." Liam says. He walks closer to me. He leans into my ear." And maybe after we go Trick-or-Treating, we can have a little fun ourselves."

I roll my eyes. I grab the costume.

" But, who is gonna stay back and hand out the candy?" I ask.

" How'd you guys do it in the past?" Liam asks.

" Louis or Ben always took them. I stayed back." I say.

" Well, that's gonna change tonight. We're both going with them. Change into your costume." Liam says. He walks to the desk in our room. He starts writing on a piece of paper.

" But who will hand out the candy?" I ask slipping my work bottoms off. I slip the Cat Woman suit on my lower half. Liam shows me a sign that says: please take one. Happy Halloween :)

" No, Liam. Those never work. Teenagers always take more than they should." I say.

" Daddy, are we going?" Luke calls from downstairs. Liam looks at me.

" Live a little, Mill. You haven't seen your kids Trick-or-Treating yet and neither have I. This will be fun." Liam says. I sigh. I slip my work shirt off and slip the rest of the Cat Woman costume on.

" Fine." I say. I slip the Cat Woman ears on. Liam smiles.

" Theres my Millie." Liam says. I roll my eyes. We both walk out of our room and downstairs to two anxious children.

" Wow mummy! You look like a kitty!" Kaylee says.

" It's because I'm Cat Woman." I say. Liam looks at me.
