Episode/Chapter 3 - Cupid's Day Part 4

"Well done, team. We had a good mission." Nightwing congratulated everyone once they returned to the cave.

"Will Conner be okay?" Oracle asked M'gann as she helped Superboy out of the Bioship.

"I'll be fine. Thanks, Bette." Superboy sent her a weak smile.

"So what's everyone doing here?" Impulse asked as he, Kid Flash, and Artemis walked up to Nightwing, who stood in front of the entire team in the mission briefing room.

"Because, they're here to say welcome to a couple new members." Nightwing said as he gestured to a Zeta Tube, where Batman and two other kids came in, "and here they are." They all turned to the Dark Knight, the tall girl with shortish black hair, and the short boy with black hair.

"Introductions?" Nightwing asked, and Batman nodded. He gestured to the girl who stood in front him.

"This is Black Bat, one of my protégés, and this," Batman gestured to the boy, "this is my son. He is the new Robin." The boy, Robin, crossed his arms. They all can already tell that he was going to be a troublemaker.

"Welcome to the team." Supergirl smiled warmly.

"He kinda reminds me of you. You two should totally hang out!" Soaren giggled as she leaned closer to Jet. He glared at her then shrugged.

"Sure. He's fourteen too." Jet said.

"This is SO much fun! You'll love it!" Wonder Girl told Black Bat as she, both Batgirls, and Supergirl walked up to her.

"So I've heard." Black Bat smiled as she turned to Batgirl.

"Oh, duh. You're Batman's protégé! You should know Barbara and Batgirl!" Wonder Girl said.

"Yeah, I do. And you must be Wonder Girl, and you're Supergirl!" Black Bat pointed each girl out.

"Yeah! It's a pleasure meeting you!" Supergirl smiled.

"So, you're Batman's son? Like, blood son?" Wally asked Robin, who just nodded silently.

"Oookay. So you know Red Robin and Nightwing?" Blue Beetle asked.

"Grayson is an excellent partner. He's the one who brought me here, not Father. And working alongside Grayson is an honor." Robin finally spoke.

"I thought it was always an honor to fight alongside Batman, let alone Dick." Wally muttered under his breath.

"So, I'm Jet. I'm the same age as you." Jet introduced himself to Robin, "fourteen, right?"

"Yeah." Robin said as he looked Jet up and down, "so what's your ability?"

"I have something like a twin connection with my twin, Soaren, and I have wings." Jet answered as he gestured to his back.

"Really?" Robin asked, a look of wonder on his face.

"Y-yeah." Jet answered, "I can also be pretty stealthy when it comes to covert ops."

"So cool!" Robin smiled as he brought Jet to the side, away from everyone else, then his voice lowered to a whisper, "your abilities are exactly what I need. Can you come with me and help in a personal covert op?"

"Wh-what?!" Jet said.

"Look, I was hoping to uncover a new secret about this team that us newbies haven't been told." Robin said.

"Wait, wait, wait. You're saying that Nightwing and the other know something that we don't? They're keeping something from us?!" Jet asked.

"Exactly. And I need your help to uncover that." Robin said. Jet peeked over at the rest of the team, then back at Robin.

"I'll do it." Jet nodded, "but where exactly are we going?"

"You may or may not have heard of the place, or even the group, but we're going to visit..." Robin turned back to Jet and took out a ninja star with symbols engraved on it, "the League of Shadows."
